We got a point We were very poor Very weird negative performance and substance For me the entertainment factor has gone now and is irrelevant. The job is by hook or crook to get enough points to survive so we can rebuild and have a better season next time round. I think we have got a manager now who will see us safe.

I very rarely get bored watching a Stoke game as I get engrossed no matter what so I thought it was a perfectly decent away performance overall. There wasn't much going forward but I never really felt they were going to score after the first 10 minutes. We know we're in a relegation scrap so I don't really know what some are expecting. If you can't accept a bland 0-0 away from home in the predicament we're in then when can you?
I like that MON is very much horses for courses in his approach. He knew we couldn't afford another battering like we got at Derby and QPR so he shut up shop a bit. He'd be getting both barrels if he hadn't and we'd have lost last night. I have a sneaking suspicion that we won't be quite so cautious against Luton on Saturday. It's a massive game but he must know that, like Barnsley and Huddersfield, the best form of defence is to attack. I can see us scoring another 3 or 4 on Saturday if everyone is fit and firing.

When I thumped the kitchen worktop and yelled "YES!" when the final whistle blew as I was listening to it on the wireless, I really couldn't have given a toss how we played. We gained a filthy dirty three points last Saturday and last night was another scruffy one. Long may the crap continue as long as we keep piling on the shit points. Then, once we're out of the mire we can look forward to an improvement in entertainment.
OS.

They had no real chances to be honest although we had a bit of luck with the early disallowed goal.

Very much a Pulisesqe performance apart from the standard of the team we were playing, Pulis was doing this in the PL and getting slated for it on here, it proves needs must but it does not appeal to all that's the position we are in thanks to the board of directors.

Not sure what our fan's expect, to go away and play with freedom and in a composed manner given our dire situation. First half I thought we attacked at times quite fluently, lost our way second half for sure but dug out a priceless point.

Fuckin abysmal so called game of football. No pace No idea No technique No genuine flair It’s got relegation written all over it! And Blackburn were a lot better? We went for and got a point. Had we managed an early goal it would have been a great result but as it was it was a good result. Personally I thought we attacked far more than I was expecting first half but seemed to make the wrong final pass or lose the ball outside the box. Without McLean we don't use the corners or full width of the pitch and with Powell out wide we only have Clucas who can make clever forward passes but he is nowhere near as good as Powell. Had that been us at home going for a play off place against a relegation threatened team I could understand our fans being disappointed. Blackburn were almost as negative as us. First five minutes I thought they were going to slaughter us but then they dropped off and never really piled forward or looked like scoring apart from the one second half one Jack had to come out to. His other saves were routine and there weren't many of those. Their gk struggled more with Campbell's second half effort.
