Good.
Obviously needs a rocket and rightly getting one.

Did Angela offer the follow up question of 'but Michael, Tommy Smith is shit'?

No one can argue with that.

A loan is best for all concerned

A loan is best for all concerned If we are playing with wing backs, then he's a far more viable option than Smith in that position.

At this moment in time he's quite clearly not. Agreed and I think Smith gets forward well and last season contributed to a lot of goals pre lockdown. His problem is at the other end in his defending where for me he switches off far too much.

Smith was probably our worst player on Saturday.

Did Angela offer the follow up question of 'but Michael, Tommy Smith is shit'? Your obsessed, give it a rest. He’s in the first team, is currently a better option than Edwards, the Manager thinks so and knows more than you, just get over it. You give absolutely no credit to Smith, even if he has a good game, so just says to me you don’t like him as a person not as a footballer. Any player who makes it to this level, is not exactly ‘shit’.

Did Angela offer the follow up question of 'but Michael, Tommy Smith is shit'? She would have looked daft if she had as he would point to the fact only McClean beat him for assists and he was also the most accurate crosser in the entire league. But please, continue your ill-informed agenda against him rather than concentrating on the waster who has achieved nothing but continues to piss his career away

If anyone offers 2-3m for Tom Edwards I'll show my arse in Burtons window (again) Having seen Burtons window in Nottingham, it would be the best thing in there!

Smith has been steady enough but he really needs some stiff competition. Loan Edwards to Vale, he’ll soon see the error of his ways.

You can dislike people without knowing them. Maybe how that person comes across? Like I said, you just never give him credit, regardless of what he does on the pitch. Your sour about £4m that you haven’t spent, on a player who is keeping an out of form local lad out of the team, that’s what it comes down to.

It doesn't make it anything other than an horrific piece of business though. A £4M full back in this division should be stand out, a real asset, someone most other clubs would walk over hot coals to get. Tommy Smith is none of these and after Leeds I wouldn't give two shits if he never played for us again. One thing is for certain, if Edwards or a couple of other younger players had done what he'd done at Leeds, they wouldn't have started the next game, that is a cast iron certainty.

If we do get any slack / leeway in the budget, I would still love to see a 'proper' RWB come in.
And I'd be giving Tymon minutes on the left if possible.
The option of two real wing backs could transform us.

The option of two real wing backs could transform us. Interested to see Brown as RWB Yes, I rather hope we get to see that tomorrow. I'm sure I read somewhere when he signed, that Brown has actually played at left back on a few occasions, as well as winger, wing back and striker. That should mean he should have the skill set to play at wing back - and he certainly has the pace for the job.

I was quite impressed with Tom when I first saw him play, but he has now got a good kick up the arse from O'Neill and I think it is now up to the player to respond. Perhaps a loan is the best solution.

He's a runner so going forward RWB should suit him No idea what his defensive nous is like though
