Those last 5 are hideous. I think we are well capable of 14 points from the next 7 though.
Luton, Hull, Boro, Barnsley I think we can win Reading and Wigan we can get a point
That would put us on 51 and pretty safe going into the run del muerte.

Four? 46 points should do it 47 to make sure if goal difference is iffy I think we will get 53 points

Tough last five. Blackburn I’m assuming zero points. That leaves six games to get 14 points. Why’ve I made staying up so tricky. Gonna be tough, but just need to keep winning at home.

Hopefully a couple of those later games might involve teams already guaranteed a play off place and who may want to rest players for the next games....may give us a chance of an unexpected win?

12 games left.
3 points above the relegation zone.
I don't think 4 wins guarantees survival.

Boro could be bang in trouble by the time we play them. Next 4 fixtures are Leeds (h) forest (h) Charlton (a) Swansea (h) before playing us

The way it’s going it might take more than 49 points this season for the last relegation place

Wigan may well get out of it, but Boro are floundering (only won once this calendar year), Reading have hit the buffers somewhat (only won 2 games this calendar year), ditto Huddersfield and Hull are in freefall (only won once this year also).

I said last week that once we go above huddersfield we will be in a good place, it has taken months to do that and therefore I am confident that we are going to be ok. Wigan are more likely to get out of this along with ourselves. Luton, barnsley and one from Wigan or huddersfield for me.

Boro and Huddersfield are below us now and Reading and Hull are in reach. It isn't just between us. The teams you've mentioned are also deep in the shit. At one point though it looked like we were miles away from the relegation zone (7 points at one stage wasn't it??) but now it's back down to 3. We can't seem to pull away. 6 wins to be guaranteed safety. We may well survive on 4 wins.

Hull could be dragged into this yet. They lost their two best players on deadline day and are only four points above us.

Where are they coming from? Blackburn (A) Luton (A) Hull (H) Reading (A) Middlesbrough (H) Wigan (A) Barnsley (H) Leeds (A) Birmingham (H) Bristol C (A) Brentford (H) Nottingham Forest (A) I think we'll win vs. Leeds, Bristol City, Forest, and Blackburn. We'll lose, however, vs Barnsley, Wigan, and Luton, because our players will think those clubs are vastly inferior - which they are - but in true Stoke tradition our players will be so full of themselves that they throw those three clubs a lifeline, making the last few weeks of the season a total nuisance but with two wins and a draw out of the last three matches we'll finish 21st...
