29 points out of 57 available is a fantastic return considering what he took over I think people forget this. We were dead in the water. That points return is fantastic with what he’s had to work with.....

That points return is fantastic with what he’s had to work with..... It is. Up until the hiccoughs of the past few games we were looking well placed for a promotion drive next season. Fingers crossed we are now back on track and those disappointing results prove to be nothing more than a blip.

No team below us in the table have better form which is good and interesting to see Hull and Reading at the bottom as we"ve closed a huge gap on both and not far off catching them

Woeful since selling Bowen to West Ham

29 points out of 57 available is a fantastic return considering what he took over It’s even more impressive when you see that we’re still a squad packed with frail mentalities, has developed an ability to implode under the slightest pressure and has perfected the art of succumbing meekly to defeat against any side with even a hint of quality. To recover from the disastrous performances at Derby and QPR and follow them up with crucial victories says to me that MON is highly skilled and able to manage both individuals and squads with genuine competence.

Only one team in the 10 game form guide have more wins than us - Bristol with 6 wins to our 5.
MON, in an interview a week or so back, said that one of the things he was aiming for, was to win half our games. On the evidence of the last 10 games we are doing that. Beyond that he will no doubt be trying to convert more of the losses to draws. Assuming that we have a good summer window (both for arrivals and departures) there is every chance we can realistically aim for the top 6 next season. Of course that assumes that we get the 9 or 10 points we need to secure safety this season.
I am cautiously optimistic. As others have said, the transformation from the basket case we were when Jones left, is pretty dramatic.

29 points out of 57 available is a fantastic return considering what he took over I think people forget this. We were dead in the water. That points return is fantastic with what he’s had to work with..... Particularly pleasing that we've made up points on Hull and Middlesbrough who have both struggled with just 2 and 0 wins in the last 10 games respectively. With Wigan and Barnsley continuing to accumulate points we could do with big performances at Blackburn and Luton to help drive in the knife this week.
