Anyone else seen it? I finally got round to it tonight.
I thought it was an absolute miracle of a film, Kermode calls it a 'gasp-inducing masterpiece' and the Director a 'comedy without clowns, a tragedy without villains', I thought it was all of that.
If you do see it the less you know about it the better I would say.

Get gone with wind back 🙄 ...
In all seriousness though I persoanlly cannot watch subtitled films. I put it down to being a slow reader but I just cant take it in.
Had strong reviews though so maybe give it a shot soon.

Trump showcasing his charm and intellect. He is truly an odious man. I agree. And he's going to het a second term as President. Consider that now so as not to be disappointed in November.

Let’s hear your review then Joe don’t be shy? It was visually rich. And the quirky comedy hit the mark. Not sure the violence had to be so brutal but the movie referred several times to metaphor so that tells it’s own story. Also one of the oddest strangest sex seasons ever!!

Bong Joon-ho has done one of my favourite Korean films ( ‎Memories of Murder) which I think is a classic.Parasite I enjoyed but it should have finished after the garden party scene.

I avoid trailers and Parasite was definitely one that rewarded that. I thought it was excellent. Great humour, touching in parts, and I just didn't know what was going to happen next. 3-Iron remains my favourite South Korean film though, which Parasite reminded me of (it was like a cross of 3-Iron and another South Korean film called Shoplifters). South Korean films are known for pushing to the extremes. If you think that sex scene was strange, watch The Handmaiden (also South Korean). I never thought a tooth-filing scene could be erotic...
