www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-foyle-west-51580401This is a nice touch. I like the fact that it is not just 2/3 lines, its respectful and he's obviously taken the time out. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, and any mention of his name is usually accompanied by a stream of abuse but the guy has got some very good qualities and is bloody good at his job.

Klopp is excellent manager but gets loads of shit and is a gentleman in regards the media and the general fan and speaks well of other clubs
The most arrogant and intolerant of the media are Mourinho and GuardIola but for some reason they are held in high esteem

As if he responded himself? He is a grade A, classless tosser, as he proved on Tuesday night. He's a good manager obviously, very good in fact, but a tosser he remains.

As much as i've taken the piss out of him on here over the years (almost exclusively for looking like a homeless crackhead), there's actually very little to dislike about the bloke and lots to applaud him for.
Fair play to him for this. Few other managers would even know whether they received lots of letters, let alone reply to even one of them...for instance, i sent dozens of letters to Nath asking for him to try to pleeeeeeeeeeeease win a game, and all i received back was something written in crayon with pictures of crosses and fish all over it. The only actual words i could decipher were "Great job at Luton....doing the right things...Luton fans loved me....just unlucky...something about Luton again". To be fair i think it must have been some shit a kid wrote back to me, as most adults aren't that fucking deluded.

Arrogant = exaggerating ones own worth. Unlike mourinho don't think I have ever her Pep self praise himself so no he most definitely is not arrogant. Ought to be more arrogant because I for one think he is brilliant, a manager any club would love to have.

Nah. Klopp doesn't respond to the letter = I don't care, he's a busy bloke, why would he read mail sent to the ground? Klopp does respond to the letter = bollocks. One of the social media team have done that for the likes. Not interested in slagging Klopp off either way.

I think one of the disturbing aspects of Facebook/Instagram logic, or mentality is that it seems to foster the idea that no-one ever does anything because it is intrinsically just a good thing to do, people only do things for superficial likes, or to create the impression they are good, while actually they dont give a shit. There's plenty of that alright. Maybe I am one of those few left who think there are still people around who do it because it simply seems like a good thing and no other reason. No big deal, it's a relatively small act, but seemingly and increasingly against the trend.

I like Klopp a lot too, and this letter reads like he speaks so I'd be absolutely amazed if he hadn't written it, or at least dictated it himself. I also appreciate the fact that he often wears rainbow laces in his shoes, not just as part of a campaign but whenever he feels like it. It sounds daft but it's little things like that which can mean a lot to young gay folk, especially knowing that Klopp is also a devout Christian.
I can't really warm up to Pep at all. Mourinho I absolutely loved until his treatment of the club doctor. Opinions eh!

Companies replying to children's daft letters is a well-worn PR/advertising tool. So when I saw them report this story I thought "Nah, Russian bots wrote that to fuck with Britain and they've told Comrade Klopp to go along with it." Bet you I'm right.

I don't much like Klopp, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the time he took to reply to this young lad.
Nothing and no-one is black or white, there are so many shades.
To me, Klopp is one of those "sing when you are winning" types who's mask slips when things go against him. Doesn't make him a bad person, and this letter shows some of his humanity. I still don't like him all that much

But if there is one thing I can tell you as 52 years old,
That does come across as a foreign person speaking English, we'd say as a 52 year old, for instance, or it's a very clever PR stunt but I'd like to think it isn't as a bitter nearly 50 year old!

I've said it before but I'll say it again.. I like Klopp he seems to be an intelligent and decent guy. My only criticism of him are his comments re teams he can't beat, true aren't many but as a manager is up to you to counter-act their tactics. He doesn't like not winning I totally get that and all smiles and praise when he does but credit where due sometimes rather than sour grapes.

Its whatever you want to believe but I dont think this is the case by the tone of the writing. Read Raphael Honigstein's 'Bring the Noise' recently, and it's fair to say Klopp makes a massive effort to get to know everyone at the club he's managing. Doesn't suffer fools admittedly, but seems rightly revered by many employees and fans of all his former clubs for his human touch.
