Just look at those poor downtrodden illegal immigrants sorry asylum seekers not a single female to be seen, I wonder where they get the £5k from to pay the traffickers, no doubt they will be put up in luxury hotels full board with pocket money at the expense of the British tax payers , meanwhile we have ex service personnel living on our streets ordinary people living from food banks it's a National disgrace these "illegals" should be deported as soon as they arrive here with no id. And despite the abuse you get Crap ( sed preceeding post), when you put your point in your usual forthright, provocative way, your view is closer to " most ordinary people " in my opinion. A controversial " truth" worth considering. Some "people" don't like the truth they can not defend what is going on so seek to deflect, deny and discredit it is a common tactic by the spineless, brainwashed, woke totally defeated left wing libtards in short I don't give a flying fcuk what these people say they are nothing to me or most ordinary working class people that I know, they are still crying because they were given a right shoeing over Brexit and the December election they can not come to terms that they are in the minority and unlikely to get their own way again, oh well who gives a fcuk.

You’d have to have Starmer and the Labour Party about the views of Starmer and the Labour Party. If you want my view what is it you particularly want to know John spit it out my friend? It's up to you to post your view, no need to wait to be asked. To be honest I'm more interested in the future of the " left" , as you've pointed out several times in your interest in my posts. I would say this. Farage is a very astute politician and he is in tune with "ordinary people " and the " mood of the country " , no matter how much the ineffectives try to attack him personally. People used to laugh at him and deride him.....In my opinion it is now not inconceivable that come the next election, the Brexit party may form the real opposition, particularly when people have had enough of Boris. I don't think it is wise to take the electorate for granted too much. Farage is a despicable specimen who promotes division and hate. For every asylum seeker who gets abused, assaulted and worse in this country every single day he has blood on his filthy bigoted hands.

Of course Farage simply thinks it is wrong, the wrong way to enter a country. I think most people would agree with him.

As such they are unlikely to gain political power in the foreseeable future.

I don't know him as well as you seem to, to be able to say that, although I have met him/ discussed issues with him. It seems like illegal immigration has got to be one of those issues like Islam that we cannot talk about....even though many ordinary people are concerned about it. In the latest episodes he is drawing attention to the many people who are risking their lives to enter the country....what should we do....ignore it, encourage it ( make it much easier to enter ). or stop it? Do we know that they are actually asylum seekers ( or doesn't that really matter)? Or is it just easier to claim the high ground to ssy that " I care about people and you don't "....to solve the problem is going to be more complex. And , like it or not, I believe that most people would agree with Farage that it is not right....and if it continues there indeed may be a worse backlash....not caused by Farage, probably moreso by those who wish to ignore it. In my opinion

Do you support us turning Libya into the most lawless place on earth and the centre of people trafficking?" Do you John?

We" should help them , but I don't have the answers.I don't blame THEM whatsoever for wanting to better themselves and I wish there had not been any wars or hatred. I don't think turning a blind eye to the Channel crossings is helping them. They already are safe in France. I have worked with young Kosovan asylum seekers in Stoke on Trent, decent ,positive young people. It might seem.selfish to you but I think that we cannot answer all the world's problems , even if you/ we have the guilt of causing them ( in some people's eyes)....I think we have enough problems of homelessness, knife crime etc of our own to deal with. Are all those entering the country illegally from Libya?

And remind me when was the last time you heard a politician say "we can't afford to go to war in the Middle East as we have our own issues at home we need to address?" Because they always find the money somehow don't they? The "ordinary working class average Joe" has far more in common with a Somali pizza delivery man, a Kosovan builders mate, a Libyan taxi driver or an Albanian waiter, than they do Nigel Farage or Richard Tice. But it's easier to blame these people for our ills, instead of tackling the real issues of inequality in our society. I don't have guilt and neither should you, I just refuse to believe the narrative pushed by media. What others choose to believe is entirely their business.......

I tried looking up his opinions of the Iraq War and struggled to find him saying anything about it until quite some time afterwards, after it had all gone pear-shaped. I've no idea if it's the same with Libya or not.

And that is the bloke who works in a factory in Blackburn, and the Somali pizza delivery guy who lives next door. But it's much easier for the former to blame the latter for all his problems, when the reality is it's utter bollocks......

When we stop indiscriminately bombing the shit out of countries we have no business getting involved with. Well at least that would help. Should it end? We should take our fair share of refugees, especially unaccompanied minors who have no family. We currently take nowhere near our fair share.

I know it does not fit the agenda but Farage was one of the few the only leading policies to oppose the war on Libya. Uncomfortable as it may be your sentiments are echoed by Farage in these links . Blair for Labour ( the Left?...although of course many try to disown him now) was equally guilty of course in respect of Iraq BBC News - Election 2015: Farage accuses PM over migrant deaths www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32374871BBC News - Reality Check: Is Libyan migrant crisis the UK's fault? www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32381621My reference to Farage wasn't related to the war, I was merely saying that people like Farage and Tice (I could have used other examples) seek to divide people who have more in common than they think. And that is the bloke who works in a factory in Blackburn, and the Somali pizza delivery guy who lives next door. But it's much easier for the former to blame the latter for all his problems, when the reality is it's utter bollocks...... I don't think Farage is saying or doing what you would like to think he is saying or doing. He is putting the concerns of ordinary UK people first and ordinary UK people will support him in that. If you read the links he is not against immigration. He is against the Channel crossings
