When does the Russian season end? Sometime in the autumn? If so can the loan run to then rather than the end of our season?

From the Mail article:
"Lecce who held an option to buy at £3.5m."
That would have cost us £15 million and a few million in wages - over £20 million all told (less his loan deals).
Unbelievable. Doesn't the club do due diligence?
I once worked with a Man. United supporter (he was OK apart from that). He told me that Fergie used to have some potential buys checked out by private security - apparently Chris Sutton was one (he never signed him). Man. United had their share of flops it's true, but we seem to specialize in them.

Imagine if Imbula was to sign permanently for Moscow, we could have an annual Lokomotiv Day commemorative celebration.

I hear tonight that there has been panic and protest on the streets of Moscow. No idea if its related.

If the useless waste of space puts his gloves on and just strolls about the pitch not doing much and not seeming to care like he usually does then certain sections of the support over there will tear him to fucking shreds. I do have to laugh though, if the cool weather here in balmy Stoke bothered him then he's got another thing coming when he gets to Moscow. I mean, on the whole Moscow isn't actually as cold as people assume, but there are instances where it gets quite chilly indeed. I remember getting dragged out for drinks one birthday, in January, and the mercury was sat -33°C. Then there was the windchill factor on top of that, so it felt a good 10° colder.

That will almost undoubtedly have been Imbula plus some of Wimmer/Badou & Berahino's Value. Imbula will be free to leave to any takers.

He won't last two months in russia with his attitude and how he cant play without gloves. Imagine the shit the russians will give him with his lax attitude? What's he worth to us if he's "bumped off"?

Still awaiting news. If he is going permanently do you think we could organize a whip round for him at the next home match to see if we can raise enough money in a collection to buy him a couple of spare pairs of gloves as a leaving present?

Something is certainly happening, we wouldn't of allowed them to cancel the deal unless there was something in it for us. Hopefully this is the end of probably the worst saga in our history.

I think that means the loan is cancelled. So he’ll be available tomorrow!🤣 edit: free agent by end of season. Get him some gardening gloves as a leaving present!

L'Equipe mention Turkey - but he couldn't go there until the summer, could he?
Under contract with Stoke until 2021, the 27-year-old Congolese midfielder could rebound within the Turkish team of Gaziantepspor.

Until I see him outside the Lokomotiv Stadium, with a green & red scarf aloft...;-) Oh and on a serious note, the problems in the Russian game with racism will make his stay interesting to say the least I imagine he'll avoid most of the racism as he doesn't actually play for any of the clubs he visits. He'll be either on the bench under 13 layers or at home looking for his next meal ticket.
