I know SLP aren't the most popular on this site, but I do like the shirt they've made with Fused Sport, and with permission from Stoke to use the badge as well.
Really like it, will probs pre order, but no size guide available so it's worth asking them.
/photo/1
Also a bit of a twitter drama as well, with our Stoke Analytics mate tagging Stoke and the Stoke store in tweets about using the badge. Not the first time he's tried to dob them in for rights to use an image.
Away from all that, I'm glad the club gave them permission to make it. Well done Stoke.

Nice design but bit expensive at £35 quid I think.

Who would pay £35 for that? And something that bunch of dicks have put together, its a no from me.

That is bloody nice tbh. Not keen on the daft "Stoke Loud and Proud" slogan on the sleeves, not because I have anything against them, just cos I find the phrase cringy. But it's pretty unobtrusive. I'll go for one if they reduce it to ten quid at the end of the season like the club do

The colours and that badge make it look like something the sporting wing of the Hitler Youth might have worn! I can see it going down extremely well with many of the posters on the EEB...

Though I've never had a run in with them myself. Tom/Sussex Stokie on Twatter in particular doesn't like them

If Stoke had any commercial insight whatsoever, they should be coming up with their own retro gear not allowing others to use their crest and doing it themselves. Look at Leeds retro range for instance: shop.leedsunited.com/retro-shirtsThe Admiral stuff is top notch. Imagine a modern remake of this:

Wasn't it Leeds that had that aborted badge design where the badge was a picture of a man where the badge should be? I must go and look it up. And to think, two hours ago I was delivering a lecture on semiotics. Hang on... Here it is!

Is it just me or is the (bad) writing on the sleeves the wrong way round?
Surely it should be arranged that it says "Stoke Loud and Proud" front on, not "and proud stoke loud"? You wouldn't have CFCS on the badge would you?

Imagine a modern remake of this: That top was on sale in the shop (obviously without the Admiral branding) as were the 84/85 shirts, the 72 League Cup shirt and the 74/75 home and away shirts. I'm not sure if they're still available.

You wouldn't have CFCS on the badge would you? I assume it’s “Stoke Loud And Proud” wrapped around the outside of both sleeves. Does make it look a bit weird from the front though.

Superb I've still got the black Asics training top with the red collar and cuffs and Carling on the front from the early 90s. I'm really fond of it for some reason.

anybody who wears one is more than likely creeping round at night bothering cattle...
having said that and i did ask earlier wasn't the reason for the new/current crest that the old one couldn't be copyrighted?

The old one being the city crest? That one wasn't copyrightable (and I think too complex to stitch cost-effectively) but I don't think there's any problem with the one above. That one's my favourite anyway, I'd love to see us go back to a modernised version of that.
