Forgive my obviously shocking memory (I am getting on a bit) but I can only come up with 5 expensive players out on loan, Wimmer, Imbula, Afobe, Etebo and N'Diaye. Who am I missing? As regards keeping any of them, it depends where we are playing next year. In reality, the only players I want to keep, be it loaned out or playing for us currently, are those that are 100% committed and capable to giving their absolute all for this football club and not just here to pick up fat pay packets. Bottom line, as it stands, not a lot of them.

What's the point in keeping any of them? We need them off the wage bill, the two good ones have made clear they don't want to be here and the rest have to varying degrees helped put us where we are.

I think Afobe could be great under MON Why? He's not a lone striker, he's not good in the air, he doesn't work hard, it looked like his pace was going. And that was before the dreadful tragedy that's befallen him and a serious injury. Hopefully he can return and do a good job for someone and bounce back from such awful personal circumstances, but I'd be astonished if it was for us.

Poetic licence on my part, the 8th is Harry Souttar (£200,000 )

The only players i'd happily keep out of our squad currently are:
Edwards Oakley-Boothe Verlinden Powell Campbell Thompson Collins Souttar
...and even some of those are because I haven't seen them play before!
The rest could go for one reason or another. The experienced players we have are costing us a fortune and have dragged us deep into this mess. They all need a clear out, lock stock and barrel - replaced with experienced players who still have some hunger in the tank. Powell i'd keep as a token gesture of a footballer we once had, have not had since and are unlikely to have again if he leaves!

Bottom line, as it stands, not a lot of them. All the product of the" process" which as we know is fine," what's all the fuss about"," lessons have be learned", "we watch each potential signing 25 times before commiting", "we carry out due diligence on each signing" etc, etc, etc.

Fee already agreed on Afobe c£3m down to Bristol City if they wish to proceed. Much will depend how he fares in the next few months obviously.

out on loan... Which would you keep? Afobe for me... Why on earth would you keep Afobe? Because I think there is a goalscorer in him at this level and he actually possesses a bit of pace. He scored goals before he came to Stoke and started scoring again when he went on loan. I know it's unlikely MON will play two strikers but I'd like to see Campbell and Afobe tried together.

I'm not joking with the right training and opportunities he could be the next Wollsheid God help us. Wolfie isn’t even playing professional football. He’s almost as big a mard-arse as Imbula with about a 1/10th of the talent
