Nowt to do with night time finishes, but have you heard that humdinger thing John Acres does in the morning? Absolutely hideous. Totally stopped listening to him. I normally like Acres but humdinger thing makes me cringe it's unbelievably bad. That Johnny Cash Fast Friday thing the other week wasn't much better. And also that garden show on a Sunday morning can die too.

Don’t worry the Tories will have closed the whole thing down by this time next year.

Just to bring another example of local BBC stations staying on air after games,at the minute BBC Tees is on air until 5pm after the match between Middlesboro and QPR finished at 3-55 ish.I await to see if the clowns at Radio Stoke do the same next Sunday after the Birmingham game. This coming after going off air last Tuesday at 10pm after the Wigan game with loads of callers waiting to have their say. Then on Friday during Praise and Grumble we have a Friday mind boggler WTF?

With Leeds for the league cup they said before the penalty shootout that they hope it’s a quick one because the show ends at 10pm. What sort of planning is that? Imagine if bbc one did that when an fa cup game ran over and they turned extra time off for Casualty or some shit. Oh the BBC have previous. Memory good (but getting shorter recently) but I seem to remember it was a snooker final and they cut out to ‘scheduled programming’

Hey Chig. I can’t focus on your posts because that young lady is too distracting. Who is it? Couple of people have asked recently . It’s Lindsey Pelas, she’s a model 👌 What? An arse model?

After watching the stream with radio stoke commentary yesterday, I can’t believe how much the commentators missed.

On the official stream there is obviously a time lag with the commentary.
There probably is a technical explanation but I can not understand why a commentator at the ground is behind the stream.
How would it be if I had the stream on with no sound and the commentary on digital radio?
My radio in the kitchen is several seconds in advance of Radio Stoke on Freeview.
At the end of the day it is better than nothing so will have to make do. If anybody has figured it out please let us know.⚓️

Thought it was a "lumpy" commentary yesterday and I didn't get the point of Liam or Nigel chiming in for 30s worth. Either they are commentators or they are not, which one is it? Like the performance on the pitch, improvements needed.

There’s a delay, usually about 7 seconds, on most radio broadcasts. Just in case someone says ‘oh fucking hell Ince’ they can hit the delay button and it won’t go out on air.

Does anybody know what time they’re on until tomorrow night after the Leeds game?(in the scheduling) About 15 seconds knowing them. I always find it bloody annoying that they finish broadcasting about 15 after full time during midweek games.

It says until 7pm on my tv guide. So that's about 15 minutes after full time. In other words shite.

The reason I ask is Radio Derby are on air until 8pm after their game finished at 6-55🤔I await Radio Stoke doing the same tomorrow🤔

Anybody know if there's anyone in charge of sport on there?
Haven't heard anything since McGraham decided to concentrate on Crewe, wish he'd concentrate on his garden or bowls or summat personally, can't be doing with him.

Let's face it, in this day and age of Internet, streaming and football coming out of every orifice, to not allow radio to broadcast every game is a bit wrong really.

Yes I agree mate but yet again money talks It is a joke and totally baffeling. I spend some time in Greece. I can listen to radio 5, or Stoke all day on line but as soon as a sport thing comes on such as Grand Prix or more importantly the Stoke match it goes off for what they say is “ Contractual Reasons” ? The irony is can still get Signal.
