It's full of culture mate especially the idyllic strip of 'Veronicas' đ
Last time I was there Linekars was on fire by 9.30pm! They being said if you're confident for rentals get it done it's a lovely island beaches are a bit shit but some lovely coves etc... Food wise, there is a banging eatery areas by some fountains that you cant miss and an excellent Chinese and Steakhouse. Football ready available and still cheap for a good knees up - enjoy! Sorry to hear about your Mrs too fella - one thing with Spain is you wont feel alone

Yep Iâve been. A car is useful to get up Mount Teide which is worth a visit, but you can do without one really. Do a dolphin boat trip if you can....when I went it was a catamaran boat and you laid face down on the netting between the two hulls and the dolphins swam directly below you.....amazing experience.

Sorry to hear about your Mrs too fella - one thing with Spain is you wont feel alone I went back a few years ago, after not being there since 88. I wandered round with the kids looking for some recognisable landmarks & after an hour or so & some dodgy types offering me coke 1st thing in the morning(I donât know whether they were on the late or the early shift!) I stumbled upon Veronicas. It felt like the point in Planet of the Apes where Charlton Heston realises heâs on planet Earth. Funnily enough DJ Martini who was resident at Veronicas now lives just down the road from us & our kids were in the same classđ¸

Know it quite well. A drive up to Mt Tide is well worth doing. When you see it from the shore you donât realise how high it is. The N Coast is interesting but the motorway is very fast and a little manic. Beware of the Guardia Civil, they can be pretty tough.

If you do hire a car book before you go online with autoreizen really efficient, new cars you pick up and drop off at airport. Paid ÂŁ75 last year for a new clio with a/c it was bang on. As cheap as getting taxi both ways, with the benefit of a car at your disposal all week.

Went in 1999 for a week and itâs a nice enough place. Recommend a walk from Las Americaâs to Los Christianos along the pathway overlooking the sea, some great restaurants along there back then. Also back then there was a bar along there where you could have a few beers in the afternoon whilst having a bet(in the bars) on racing back heređ¤ Will always remember the holiday because whilst on the beach Ronnie Sinclair walked past us and I had to give him a chorus ofâOoh Ronnie Ronnieâđ,nice bloke as well

Somebody once told me to visit the other nine first to get the full benefit of Tenerife.

Was thinking of you last week. Was on Jeckyll Island in Georgia and remembered you had sailed the intra coastal waterway Disclamer: memories not what it used to be due to age and good beer. I may have just made this all up.

The Megabowl in Fanabe usually has it on or The Winchester pub at the far northend of the promenade in Fanabe will definitely be showing it. it's about a 25 minute steady walk from Americas or you can catch the bus
