I read some in my late teens/early 20's.
Just started Schopenhauer's "The World as Will and Representation'.
That somebody could think so deep before he was 30 makes my head spin. And he died 160 years ago!

And he died 160 years ago! Fuck me Coops. All of that before the days of Chrystal Meth. Mind you most of those wankers were on Laudanum. I remember spending my time reading Freud, Korsakoff, Alzheimer, Jung, Nietzsche and various other boring cunts. What a waste of fucking time that was. A hippy friend of mine in the 70’s introduced me to The Fabulous Furry Freak brothers which I enjoyed a fuck sight more. Do yourself a favour mate. Dump that deep thinking shite and get yourself some Gilbert Shelton ASAP. You’ll piss yourself and feel a fuck sight better about the world than reading that stuff. There is no panacea to the endless drudge of humanity. We as a species are only going one way. Let’s at least enjoy it while it lasts. Life is shit and then you die, but who says you can’t have a laugh before you do? 😁

And he died 160 years ago! I did philosophy A level when I was a teenager, but reading Descartes did my head in. It’s funny how some countries produce more philosophers than others. For a country that prides itself on producing so many PPE graduates, you’d think we’d excel in it it. Jean-Paul Sartre Was one of the ugliest cnuts you could ever wish to meet, but he $#@&&ed some of the most beautiful women. Go figure...

After all Socrates didn’t have a PS4 and Fortnight to concentrate his mind.

I repeat. "Philosophy triumphs over past ills and ills to come, but present ills triumph over Philosophy". Simples!

I’ve read a bit of Kierkegaard & his stuff is so dense that I have to hold on to each sentence in an attempt to piece them all together & have to go back & read them again to try & understand what he’s saying. I’m just trying to read his thoughts, so how he thought them up in the 1st place Heaven only knows. It’s funny that the word inspiration literally means Breath of Heaven. I’m pink, therefore I’m Spam!

I've always tried to live my life according to Alfred E Neuman , it's not confusing in any way and stood me in good stead over many years
