Don’t think so no. Didn’t score against us for Boro before joining us; didnt for Cardiff after leaving (though Thorne got his fair share). Also didn’t when playing against us for Sunderland, Sheff Wed or Wigan. Then moved to Carlisle and never played against us after that |

Adrian Heath definitely scored for Everton against us. Simon Stainrod scored for QPR against us in a 0-6 defeat and I'm pretty sure that Robbie James scored for QPR against us not long after he left in 84/85.

I'd be surprised if Asaba at the very least hadn't scored past us though, either for Gillingham or Sheffield United (or both). Gifton maybe for Watford or Burnley. |

(Will post this as response to the later post)... Gillingham tonked us in 1998/99 at their gaff. Can’t find who scored for them though - possibility for Asaba? Don’t think Gifton scored against us though. Cant see owt for him at Watford before us or Burnley after. |

David Herd scored against us for Man Utd in the 1963/64 season.
Roy Vernon scored against us for Everton, first game of the season 1964/65......

Bannister scored against us playing for QPR & Statham scored on his debut for WBA v Stoke when Shilton was in goal.

Tony Ellis scored for Preston against us at deep dale in the league cup yeah he did but i,m sure Shaw scored in a 4-1 win in the league , i just remember the abuse he got off the Stoke fans and him gleefully ramming it down our throats . didn,t we re-sign him too We did and it was probably justified his reaction when he scored against us, story goes he turned up at the vic for training after returning from his honeymoon only to be told he doesn't play for us anymore and was refuse entry ! Maybe true maybe bullshit but if true it's a great story! |
