Clarke 29 appearances over the last 2 years & 2 goals - not prolific! www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-clarke/leistungsdaten/spieler/559794/plus/0?saison=2019Not much of a chance though. Just the 339 minutes last season 1 sub appearance at Leeds And then he barely got a sniff at QPR. Just 6 sub appearances in the league and 3 starts in the cups. This season u23 football apart from 26 minutes in Europe. Wouldn't be thrilled - but he must have ability and still only 20

I wonder if Clarke is being looked at as a potential wing back rather than a winger?.

If he’s anything like the other tottenham wankers crouch excluded they can fucking keep him Won't have a word said against Palacious. Wouldn't have got him anywhere near the pitch in the freezing fog last night!!

There is no way Spurs will let him go to that nuthouse, otherwise known as Sheffield Wednesday.

This guy going with Clarke again (although I think the Sentinel said there was nothing in it)

This guy going with Clarke again (although I think the Sentinel said there was nothing in it) He seems to post a lot about Spurs? Clarke would be a great signing I know that.

Cant see 2 wide players myself, more likely Obafemi than Clarke would be my guess

It probably does in a pure footballing sense, was thinking more from a financial point of view, my guess is he will go for a fullback, a winger & will hope to sneak a goalscorer on top of that. Given the budget & the fact he will have McClean & Brown still in the squad, i think thats the way he will go

And if someone like Ince is off then that should offset it. And he may do but I can see why he would get two in with what we know.

I was assuming we wouldn't be getting much towards Ince ourselves in a loan at best but you could be right I would be going for 2 given the option mate agreed, Verlinden clearly isnt his type of player & 2 fresh wide players might just kick us right on. My fear as above would be finance

It is hard to argue we don't need 2 new wide options- but we do need a left-back and a central striker too!

Could Clarke play as a wing back?. Perhaps we are bringing 4 in?. 2 wide, one central striker and a left back. Didn't he say something about a shake up in an interview post game?.

I’m setting my expectations low, if you’ve got a bit of pace and are willing to take a player on then welcome to the potteries

I would be happy with Clarke. He was insane for Leeds the season before last

1146 mins for Leeds/QPR. 0.09 xG per 90 mins. Lots of 1 in 17 pot-shots (so not a goal scorer). More a traditional creator from the wings (2.4 crosses per 90), expected assists 0.23 xA per 90 (decent). Attachment DeletedWhip & pace, right footed.

For once in a very long time, we are an attractive proposition for younger players, with so many breaking into our first team and establishing themselves. MON seems to be a manager players want to play for?.
