It’s all to predictable on and off the pitch. And to keep giving vokes time is just the final nail in his coffin.
He’s so lucky fans can’t attend because this latest bunch of cowards would be lynched by now.
It’s abysmal

Absolutely spot on. O Neil is showing himself as a bit of a coward. That was shocking management. And we all know which shit houses who will start Tuesday don’t we Michael. Maclean’s contribution today... cut inside, hit a shot and went for a throw!! Absolute wank. But he will start Tuesday because he runs! It’s getting a joke how favourites like Mikel Allen Chester Maclean all get game time. Did he start today?

Matondo was never going to be anything else. He's a victim of the ridiculous expectation placed on him by those who thought he was some kind of Sancho. Young, inexperienced and out of form, at a club that's bottom of the table and he's expected to make an impact in the championship it's a big ask. I know Man City academy coaches and when I asked what he was like they described exactly what we've seen. Interestingly, they think Wright-Phillips is better than Matondo

If you want to man up Oneil and show your authority then picking on a young kid is pathetic. Mikel, Allen, Fox, Clucas, Fletcher were all worse than Clarke but you didn’t have the balls hook any of them at half time!! Today you showed you are weak!!! Absolute shit house management, and I hope you do read this because that was shit Painfully true sadly and this is not the first example. Happy to ball out a whole load of young players but never heard him really tear into senior players. Thought he was better than that.

Because of his 1st half performance according to O’Neill Quite unbelievable that. To be honest, I wasn't remotely surprised. A defender only had to look at him and he fell over. He's obviously got skill, but he nearly always seems to use it by cutting inside, doing a bit of a mazey dribble backwards, then playing a nothing ball backward or sideways. Having said that, there were other candidates for a HT sub.....

His controlled cross for the Fletcher “goal” was excellent Agree he was easily shaken off the ball, it’s a steep learning curve especially against one of the best teams in this league

Kevin Harper was a better player than Clarke and Ratti Mantando It might just make a fun thread to compare the players we have now with insurers we had "back then" under pulis. For example, I'm quite sure Patrick Berger was about as effective as Mikel. Matondo is our new Ngoy -dare I say Ngoy was better(Jesus wept). Eustace so much better than when Allen etc

Why did he get hooked at half time? Not his best game but at least he can create and is positive on the ball. Maybe he spoke his mind and it didn't go down well. It was a strange tactical change, Mikel or Allen off at H/T would have made more sense. Because of his 1st half performance according to O’Neill 😂😂😂😂😂 He was about our best player.

Really disappointing that. Looked a threat and should've really had an assist but for Fletcher not staying onside.

That's really not saying much though is it. Not on the evidence of what we've seen so far, no. I just can't get my head around swapping a decent player of our own Verlinden for this waster who we're loaning, it just doesn't make any sense. It's the same as the Pickering situation, we had a chance of buying one of the best up and coming left backs for absolute peanuts but instead we brought in a loanee who'll we'll not have the opportunity to sign. I can't see much building for the future in any of this.

Could see the sense in that. You can see he's got lot of promise - and much more to come when you think he's only 20

I'm still not convinced he's a winger either.
I like him and think he's a very good footballer but would want to see him more centrally.

Clarke hasn't improved us at all when played to date , the odd glimpse

Verlinden was and is a good player on the pitch and the winger situation this season has been a fucking joke. I wanted him to stay and to succeed. Not sure why he was let go. Weirdly he's only played 13 minutes for Fortuna Sittard since joining them, in 7 games. He might have taken a knock in confidence but it's hardly earth shattering so far at least.
