Clarke and a striker in would make for a very productive transfer window.
The club must have plans to ship a few out on loan I imagine, Verlinden, Ince and Lindsay will be moving on..........
A loan could do do Verlinden good. If he tears up League One then he’ll go into next season with loads of confidence. Surely better for him and us than fighting for 10 mins here or there from our bench.
I like this new direction we are heading in, exciting young players with pace and skill, we'll soon be one of the fastest teams in the league!
Much better than the last batch of signings in the ‘young, exiting’ category. Namely the wet behind the ears youngster which is Stephen Ward. Oh and Vokes. Don’t forget Gregor..... Something seems wrong with the scouting system here Nath!

Anyone else feel like this is the first window in a long time that we're showing real ambition/know what we're doing.. I watched the Leeds doc on Amazon and Clarke looked like a hell of a player for them up until his transfer to Spurs, if he's kicked on from there we could have one of the best players in the Champ
If we go up, I'd bet a few of them join permantently. Sheff are looking to go down and if we go up, Rhys will want to stay, same with Matondo and possibly Clarke as well if Spurs dont seem him as a first team player
Warnock doesn't seem to think he's one that can hit the ground running at this level - and his loan back to Leeds and spell at QPR weren't massive successes after the initial hype
But maybe, if true, we're at the stage where we need to take a punt and get a promising warm body who can offer something out wide, such is the shortage of options that are available and affordable in this window?
