No doubt Trump will come pushing his chest out giving it the biggun. He's a prick who has made the world feel much less safe and the sooner he is gone the better. Which way will it go? Who knows, but if it kicks off you can guarantee all the refugees will be making their way to Europe. The quicker we pull up the drawbridge the better I see Corbyn is refusing to call this dead terrorist a terrorist again.

Iran refusing to hand over the black box from the crashed aircraft, something smells fishy and we aren't plying away at Grimsby Deffo dodgy, only makes people think they’ve something to hide. If in the scenario they have shot it down, what response are we likely to see from Ukraine? They aren’t going to be best pleased a plane departing from there is shot down, and the US aren’t going to be happy that Boeing are being refused the black box. Iran are kicking the hornets nest, again.

i think ultimately Iran will come to the negotiating table, what other option do they have ? The sanctions must be biting pretty badly by now, they can’t win a full scale war against the US, albeit they could inflict a lot of damage, so they can either keep this low level conflict going or do a deal with the US.
The fact Iran warned the Iraqis before launching the attacks obviously means it was all for show, and also must mean they’re not keen on having a war.

I dont think anyone can believe a word what comes out of Iraq/Iran/USAs mouths. All as bad as each other, all terrorists.
Terrorist= The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. All of them.

Seems to be calming down a little hopefully. If nothing else happens I reckon Donald will be well pleased with that outcome...one major target down for the cost of a coat of paint. I think you are right. Unfortunately, I have some money wagered on oil (WTI) trading above $60. Above this figure I make a hefty profit per point. Below $60 I make a similar (hefty) loss. My financial advisor chose not to cash in when it was at $76 in 2018. It then went down to $45. I went from retiring to begging in 6 months. It's not for the faint hearted. I need a war! Or at least have the Iranians bomb another Saudi refinery

Iran refusing to hand over the black box from the crashed aircraft, something smells fishy and we aren't plying away at Grimsby Typically its up to the country where the crash happened to decide who investigates and the manufacturer only gets the report or else it wouldn't be independent so it wouldn't be usual for Iran to hand it over to either the US or Boeing. They've offered Ukraine access so US will be seeing it anyway. Other thing is Boeing have been plagued with safety concerns for the last few years so although it would be coincidental it can't be ruled out plus Boeing's safety record is barely getting a mention.

I must have missed something the 737 has one of the best if not the best safety record of any aircraft. Forget about the 737 Max because this is not one of those and it was in London 2 days before it crashed.

I get that and I've seen the wiring issue from the last few days but that fact remains it's still very safe if not the safest aircraft flying.

I get that as well and it could have been shot down but equally with the safety concerns flagged by employees Boeing could have been in the prodromal stage of a crisis for months that just happens to play out now.

I thought it was a UN administered convention where the participant countries jointly carry it out, so Iran, Ukraine and USA (boing) advises who their investigators intend to be. Also this 737 isn't the modified max which has had all the recent issues

Also this 737 isn't the modified max which has had all the recent issues The point is it is supposed to be a neutral investigation so handing it over to either the US or Boeing is hardly that - I could write that report now: 'Missile strike defo - yeeeeeeeeeeeehah Get Some!' The links I gave showed problems with the existing fleet and a third of staff across the organisation having safety fears plus there's various articles in journals around their safety culture as it was previously the benchmark. I'm not saying it hasn't been a missile strike but that it would be premature to conclude that at the moment.

Boris Johnson: "Body of evidence shows the plane was shot down." Wow if that turns out to be true it could get messy indeed. Too right, those Americans would never mistakenly shoot a plane into oblivion (cough 1988, cough Flight 655) And if they did I’m sure they’d say sorry, they definitely wouldn’t give out medals to the people responsible that’s for sure.....

Well so far it looks Like Iran's response to their top General being taken out by the USA is 50 Iranians killed in a funeral stampede, it also appears that they have killed 147 Iranians (65 being dual nationals) plus some Canadians, Swedes, Afghans, Ukrainians and Brits by being unable to control their own air defence, £30 million worth of missiles fired without 1 American casualty! I bet Trump is shitting himself

Americans have assigned an NTSB investigator to go to Iran according to BBC. But Iranians have already bulldozed the crash site. They certainly have something to hide.
