12m is way too low. It should lead to resignations. It’s not your money though?

12m is way too low. It should lead to resignations. I'd be disappointed if he left for that much but the reality is he's not worth more right now. He's looked uncomfortable at centre half at championship level, so I still think it's a gamble for any club to spend more than the quoted 12m. I think it's in everyone's best interests for him to stay for another 12 months, prove himself at centre back in the championship, likely become a full international and then move to the premier league for 20m plus next summer. I don't remember his Center-Back performances too clearly, but there can't have been very many. I recall better, his games as a Right-Back,where he was adequate, but not imo outstanding. For his age and strength, he does seem to be a genuinely impressive prospect. His potential is excellent, but what value will prospective buyers put on that?

Burnley would be a poor choice for Collins. They have Tarkowski and Mee as regular CB's so Collins is unlikely to be first choice. I also expect them to be in the relegation mix next season and would be one of my picks for the drop. He could find himself back in the championship.

A nice signing on fee for him and his agent though that’s what will be being said in his ear and we are desperate for the cash let’s be honest. If a Premier League club come calling we need to take our rose tinted specs off and accept that the player is going to likely want to go.

Gotta be starting at 25 million Just for the potential and his age Need one of the top six to buy with big sell on fee performance related payments and a couple of decent free loan signings from the buying club as part of the deal IF YOU DONT FUCKING ASK STOKE YOU DONT GET THE WORST THAT ANYONE CAM SAY IS NO !! For once why not try it Seems like the club need someone with your obvious experience in multi million pound transfer negotiations to help us. Have you tried calling the club or emailing Bet365 with your CV? Sarcasm at it's finest, I love it!!!

I suggest we wait for a bidding war. You don’t accept the first bid at a public auction. to be fair we haven't publicly turned down two lower bids from Burnley already however seems ridiculously early in the window to accept a bid which is lower than his worth given reported interest from Arsenal & Leicester we can surely squeeze more out of any such deal? if not don't sell him now, his value will only increase & he ahs 3years on his contract

I was astonished by that post Collins looks more than comfortable at CB & RB & would dare say in other positions too Collins is a gifted footballer, good with his feet, you could sling him up front now if needed and he'd do a job, even at his young age. He's going to the top. £15m and vokes'Contract paid up and then we should start talking

12m bid ‘set to be accepted’ are we mad?! 3 years left on his contract. Plenty of time left in the window with a few teams supposedly interested. Why do we always do this?

Why are Stoke's transfers out of good players all considered bargains, yet Stoke get ripped off on transfers in? Who manages this shit? Also, how come we have youngsters not good enough to make the breakthrough and then when we're forced into putting them into the team then they are talented youngsters who get snapped up by someone else. We really are shit at this.

I believe Stoke City are yet again set to upset a high percentage of their fans. Nathan is very young but even so has shown tremendous potential. I think that within one more season Nathan will become a £50m plus player with a very good chance of becoming one of the very top central defenders. I totally agree with so many of our fans who ask the question "Why are we so gullible?

He scored 8 over the course of his first year here and helped us avoid relegation.

The most important part in any fee for Collins is the add ons. They need to be loaded and combined with a whopping great sell on clause because he will undoubtedly go far beyond the likes of Burnley and Stoke City in the future. The only positive about him going to Burnley, if indeed he does, is that we may be in prime position to re-sign him when we pass them in the league table, which we inevitably will at some point.

20 and he’s theirs, let the lad go and achieve things and reach his full potential He isn't going to reach his potential at Burnley. They will sell Tarkowski this summer but will buy another centre half as well as Collins - there is no way they will trust a 20 year old as a mainstay in their defence for at least the first season. He will be there for 2 years (be loaned out or play 10 games next season then 30 games the season after then go to one of the big 6 for over £35m). I think this scenario is what most supporters can see and its why some are pissed off. £12m now or play him next season in his proper position and if we go up great but if we don't I can see us getting at least £20m to £25m from a top half Premier League team. He is a beast of a specimen even at his age and will only get better and stronger. He also seems a well grounded reasonable lad- lets hope his agent genuinely has the players long term future in mind. We hold all the cards here.

Seems like he's hoping if he throws enough shit, eventually some will stick.

It isn’t though is it , none of us know the ffp situation, we might have to sell to stop a points deduction, and if ( I hope it isn’t ) that’s the case we have to accept the highest offer

Let’s face it most of us would do no worse than what the previous few managers have asked for Strange thing is I do t blame scholes he went out and got what he was asked to regardless of cost. He just listened to who those were so called experts He trusted them and probably employed them also Inexperience naively and Due Diligence
