Rangers are not top level, they have a great support but it is a terrible standard, and most weeks he'll be playing league 2 standard teams, were it not for Gerrard, who won't stick around for long, they'd have no chance with this signing.
I understand if he takes the chance to play for sheff u, though I can't see him playing much. But certainly can't understand him going to Rangers during this next few crucial years if he genuinely wants to be a premier league player.

It's hard to see him getting much game time this season for them, certainly not more than he is getting and will get for us.

The club have shown little faith in him pre O'Neil, no wonder he is considering his future. You would yourself. We've handled it badly, there is no denying it.
We can only hope that MoN can persuade him to stay on the terms offered by our crack contract negotiating team.

You would also think his dad has enough mates in the media and is cute enough to have these stories floating around as he is negotiating with Stoke to apply a little extra pressure to improve the deal. We will have our answer by the end of the month I'd imagine if he hasnt signed by 31 Jan I am guessing he wont.

This lad should have been signed up long term months ago We tried. He refused. This isn’t Football Manager. He said he wanted game time first, which we’ve done. How would you have got him to sign when he was refusing? Let him spend the night with Kelly Brook 😎

Few more grand in the wage packet following the Rangers story.
He's worth it though.

www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/tyrese-campbell-knocks-back-rangers-21347336Record Sport can reveal that the Stoke City striker, personally, made calls to both Glasgow giants on Thursday to thank them for their interest but to tell them he wants to remain south of the border.
Campbell took the unusual step of informing Celtic and Rangers himself out of respect to the Scottish giants.
The 20-year-old has still to make a final decision on his future although he has an offer from Premier League Sheffield United and Stoke have also pushed the boat out to keep him.
The Northern Ireland boss has vowed to give him the first-team football he craves and has also promised him an enhanced new contract.
That has put Stoke in the driving seat to keep their prize asset although the new contract has still to be finalised.
Campbell’s priority had always been guided by first-team football rather than money.
He is likely to make his final decision in the next 24 hours.

Yeh I thought he would be daft to come up here, rangers and celtic are no place for a young striker being talked up as a future premier league star, it's a place for young league 1 striker being talked up as a future championship star.

For me he’s the most natural goalscorer we’ve had in many a year. The rest of his game can be worked on. We need to do all we can to keep him.

Hmmm good news if true but Sheff Utd? Better than us right now and a club on the up... of his options in the Premier League they’re probably one of the best teams he could join.
