I will save any judgement until I’ve seen him play for stoke which seems a reasonable stance

Never really heard of him before we got MON.
What is he? What can he do? Where will he play?

Utterly bizarre stuff..... again. Why do you say that mate? He seems like a promising young wide player. We need more options out there and it hopefully paves the way for Ince to leave?

Just asked a Blackpool fan I know about him.
“ Aye he’s a solid enough player nothing flashy, do you well when you come down.”
Twat 😂

Utterly bizarre stuff..... again. A manager signs someone who he is familiar with and has a role in mind for... why is that bizarre ?

Perhaps that he's been in and out of the Blackpool team this year, keep an open mind but do we want/need at this time one's for "the future" when we're fighting relegation. Let's hope it works out.

We already have most of the key people in the building who can help us sort the mess we are in out. (Yes they got us here but since MON came in things have changed somewhat) we need a straight into the first team LB as a minimum. Signing young players, he knows the talents of, who can develop and are potential assets are good no matter what window.

Someone who doesn't start regularly for a third division team, looks like he'd be free in the summer and we have our own young players who can play there. It seems a very odd one to prioritise to me.

One of the reasons we got MoN in was his ability to get the most out of limited players (aka cheap) he certainly did that with Ireland but can he do it in a long league format ?

To be fair, Sheikh, he does seem to be a central midfielder. And Blackpool apparently have an option to extend his deal by a year. So the fee may not be particularly nominal.

Was a starter before we probably started showing interest and he mentioned to Blackpool that he would like to leave, this then meant the manager wanted to concentrate on developing a pairing between two players who wanted to stay, much like what happened with Etebo and Ndiaye here.
Would make sense.

Exactly the profile of player we should be looking for. Well done MON.

Over the years Momo id say Stein,Biggins,Sheron,Cresswell,Crossley and plenty more were all players going nowhere until our managers signed them

Given our priority is survival, I'd rather MON was signing known quantities and players he knows he can get a job done with, rather than taking Berahino-esque gambles. The phrase "solid enough" is good enough for us at this stage. Pulis used to sign unspectacular players that would run through brick walls for him, which strikes me as the sort of signing we need right now.
I'll be interesting to see whether he signs anyone else with qualities other than "solid enough" to complement him though. We clearly don't want all Pulis-like "solid enough" signings.

Is he a left footer? And I don't mean in the religious persuasion sense!
Research has revealed he is.

Right kind of signing this, can play number 10 if we go 4-2-3-1 and will rotate with Powell but the Blackpool forum seem to think Grayson can't get him in a position that really works, interestingly they play a number 10 and I wonder if he is one of those like Pogba where he isn't best as a 10 or part of a two man midfield but instead plays the number 8 in a 4-3-3 which conveniently is our man's best formation!

Jordan seems a very common name for a footballer these days - the only one back in the day was Joe Anyway, a team of Jordans - Pickford, Henderson, Ibe ust be shoe-ins - plus that bird with too much cosmetic work and a perma-tan as manager ?
