Labour seem destined to keep repeating the same mistakes in my opinion. They have managed to resurrect the Jewish issue. Now they somehow have contrived to make the BLM issue a reson to tear themselves in half. Plus the fight for the soul of the party goes on...." it isn't really the left"....presumably Corbyn was and that didn't end well. People won't vote positively for a divided indecisive party....I suppose that they are relying on the Tories to make a complete cock up or the public wanting a change , for change's sake. I don't say this just to " get at Labour". I just can't see where they go from here, but I suppose it is early days for Starmer. What is the answer It started all so well too...

At least Warwick Labour are learning the lessons as to why they were emphatically crushed at the last election, just a couple of years after gaining the their Parliamentary seat from the Tories.

How so? Nothing has changed in terms of what Ware has previously said....... It makes the people/groups I’ve mentioned look foolish, and that’s being kind.

If you believe a lot of what is written then yes, I don't. Ironic the Jewish Chronicle talking about defamation and libel, they almost went bankrupt and out of circulation recently and having to pay out damages for their smears was one of the main reasons. The consortium that's saved them has John Ware in it. There is huge questions against some of the whistle blowers in question, particularly the likes of Matthews.........

Labour have withdrawn the allegations, paid damages and expressed regret ..... Of course they have. And potentially prejudice the Martin Forde QC investigation into the leaked anti-semitism report where the likes of Matthews are accused of sitting on cases to make Corbyn look bad. A purely political decision by Starmer which lots of people will welcome, but doesn't actually do anything to tackle actual antisemitism which is abhorrent. If I were a member (I'm not and never have been), I'd be fuming that my hard earned subs had been spent on a case Labour's lawyers advised could be won.......

I see where you’re coming from and understand that there are serious questions to be asked about certain aspects. It doesn’t make such claims any less foolish though, people/groups have jumped the gun when actually a bit of due process was required.

As Rosen ( a left wing Jew) alludes to here's the massive elephant in the room when it comes to Labour over the past few years. Why are "Friends of........." groups tolerated in politics? They smack of lobbyists wanting favours and under the table deals. Let's not forget we're talking about an apartheid state here (not my words but the words of a UN report). Would we be happy to see a "Labour Friends of Russia" or a "Conservative Friends of China" for example? The whole thing stinks.......

Agree with the "Friends of..." stuff - most of it appears to be about free jollies to wherever on the back of 'trade' or 'improved relations' trips, which result in all sorts of suspect arrangements and deals. These kind of foreign and domestic arrangements are precisely the kind of thing that ends up with a minister overriding planning decisions the day before a new regulation would come into effect...

I wonder if the friends of Israel Get free leasons on restraing people Thieving land And ignoring international treaties And if you do well you get the booklet a hundred and one ways to persecute a Arab
