Good news?? Joker. Got to agree with O'Neill though, he does seem like he hasn't been impacted; he was pap before, he's pap now. Surely this is a media report to pretend like Stoke want to keep him so as to drive the price up. Well we haven’t exactly being trying to drive up the price of the only two players we have who resemble anything like a footballer.

Nope, it's part of the well oiled transfer team process, to be poor in many aspects.

Allen has been better recently You're right, I've given him a 5/10 in at least 4 of the past 10 games. Progress.

He's hardly going to say we are looking to sell Joe etc etc, if a offer big enough comes in then I would expect him to be off.

I really don't understand some of the constant very negative comments on here regarding Joe
Yes, he has been far less disciplined here than in his role at international level, as it seems that he can't resist the opportunity to cover for others who get themselves out of position
We do not have and our very unlikely to have that quality of player here to play alongside Joe
His better performances here, have been playing in a structured set up, players know their role and work as a team
Nathan Jones idea that we needed 2 players for every position sounds fine ,but the reality has been that said players then try and impress as an individual, teamwork isn't their priority - numerous permutations were then tried in a system not suited to our players
I am confident that MON wants and will select a more settled starting 11 , where players can develop an understanding of their specific roles with the same players
Changes will be difficult in the January window, we do need to offload players and the likes of Butland, Badou and possibly Etebo will move on
He sees Joe as an important part of his plans and I believe his experience and ability will be an asset
Its an opinion, comments on here suggest I'm in the minority, but i do feel that plenty of other players deserve more negative comments than Joe
"you don't know what you've got till it's gone"

I’m curious as to what he’s offered since his arrival? He’s the ever present in a midfield that gets overran week in week out. This is the problem with no mark managers, they fall for the name.

It’s another of those lost causes. The club hasnt been doing well for a while - Joe has been playing so the two must be associated ......mustn’t they ??? The fact he has been consistently one of our best players, done the work of two men at times and has scored a fair few goals (by our standards) has got nothing to do with anything. 😏

The only reason I would be pleased to see Joe go is to end pathetic threads like these, however I am sure the vitriol and scapegoatery would continue long after.
The question is, which poor soul would the dickheads latch onto next for the hatred - back to Butland, Clucas maybe? Ryan is on his way back too.
What a lot of these plums fail to realise is that all of these 'wank' players are only going to be replaced with even wanker ones. I have a horrible feeling that Pulis' binary season is going to look like the Arsenal 'invincibles' compared to the shitshow we are about to endure in the coming seasons...

If we could get £7m for him, or whatever, I genuinely think that spent right, we'd be a better side for it. I can't recall any MOTM performances from him since he's been here. I can though, remember numerous 'meh' performances; and for a player of his supposed calibre, we've had a poor return from him.

If though, in January, he ends up our best midfielder, we're fucked.

It's fine, he clearly wont be here for long then we can go back to watching Ryan fucking Woods showing us how its done...

Cause I see no difference in the “vitriolic” content of your posts about Woods and other people’s posts about Allen other than the player in question.
