Do we have to drop before Coates gets questioned? Rowett wank. Jones wank. O'Neill maybe wank. Players definitely wank. Seems folk are scared to question cos he's minted. At Hull today, blame anyone but Coates. Not Coates out, but Coates employ someone who knows what they're doing.

Yep. I find it absolutely astonishing that if you voice your opinion about how wank our owners are at the game, you run the risk of being assaulted at worst, or at the very best verbally abused.

Been saying it for months. They are ultimately 100% to blame.
We are heading into League One with potentially record levels of debt.
Just how is that possible?

Coates is planning to go on Mastermind; his speciality subject will be Stoke City managers 2017-2019.

It is quite astonishing. Coates seems to be completely blameless despite his recruiting of shit. Again. And again. And again. Where's it all gone wrong? He was shit hot in the 90s.

Lovely people, but I think they have to go.
On the face of it - it is has been an incredible effort to preside over getting a club the size of Stoke relegated to tier 3 footy - not just once but now on 2 separate occasions.
They are clueless when it comes to all things footy have no forward-thinking abilities - the old fashioned xenophobic must have a British manager thing is now killing us.
They have another business to run also - didn't JC go on a 3-week business trip just as we wanted to get rid of NJ and therefore it was suspended until he returned - I mean it is just laughable how naive and hopeless they are at running a football club.
Time to go

We're looking at the club's fourth spell in the third tier in our history.
Three of those spells are under Coates' ownership.

We actually don't really know if any of these managers are wank. Each of them are dealing with a club in a state of utter wankness which kind of makes their jobs pretty much impossible. The club needs to sort itself out before any manager actually has a realistic chance of sorting things.

They will destroy this football club,no doubt about it. Their money has been a double-edged sword, that's for sure. If thay abandon the club without first ensuring financial stability then the money they've wasted in such a criminal fashion could lead the club into intractable debt chaos and dissolution.

The family have gotten away with it for far too long now.
They delayed on sacking Hughes in October when Moyes was all but ready to join. He didn't. We kept Hughes till January, hired Lambert and went down. We have Gary Rowett, a man with no promotion record and gave him £50 Million. We were 13th by the time he was sacked. We went left field and hired Jones, a promising up and coming manager. We gave him no budget, and allowed him to sign absolutely loads of shit players. He leaves us in the relegation zone. We move to O'Neill, who as much as it was an interesting appointment, did not fit the personal profile of what was needed for this situation we're in (do not mention Pulis).
We have allowed the situation to fester over time since May 2016. We could have arrested the decline. We didn't. We're about to face our fourth spell in the third tier of English football. Stoke City has been slowly and systematically dismantled over 4 years, and why? Because the owners have allowed this to happen.
They could have rooted the club, got rid of Scholes, brought in a DoF, replace coaching staff, and they've done none of it. They flung the blame on every manager who has stepped foot on the training pitch since Hughes.
We are accelerating downwards at a rapid rate, to the point where we have so many players we might not be able shift unless for bargain bin prices (which to be fair is all they're worth right now), and could be/will be in astronomical debt which could potentially lead to a points deduction and make very real the possibility of playing League 2 in the next 2 years, and this isn't being dramatic either. We either stay up, or watch Stoke City completely unfold right before our very eyes.
And we've taken it up the arse from them for too long now. All the apologies, all the calls of change were for fucking nothing. It was empty hollow words. And this will be Coates legacy. A disillusioned fan base that will not play Championship football never mind Premier League football for years and years to come.
Welcome to the new Stoke City, everyone, get used to it because it's not changing for the better until Coates sorts it fucking out.

After decades of not having a pot to piss in, what more could we have ever dreamed of than having billionaire, local owners who genuinely supported the club? Who would have turned that down?
Unfortunately, in typical Stoke City fashion, we've become the only club I can think of who became shitter and shitter the richer the owners became.
In the 90s, supporters demonstrated because there was the possibility we could remove the owners and find better, richer, more committed ones. But now, logically, how are supporters meant to believe there's anything better to aim for at the end of the protestation rainbow?
It seems hopeless, and that's why apathy is the only game in town.

Really the only thing I want to do with the current situation is sit here and shout and swear about it all, but it won't help none, the damage is done. I'm hurt by the way everything has unfolded when it was so easily avoided. We had the Premier League mega millions and we pissed it down the drain. Just like Absolution said, us Stokies could only have dreamed of a rich owner. The Coates weren't spending up to the Icelandic reign, and then the Icelandic money dried up. It was the stuff of dreams that Bet365 went the way it did and how rich it made us. Sadly the more money we've had, the worse we have gotten. Will Coates realise change is needed before we're too adrift? I don't think he will. I don't think any of them will.

We could end up with God knows who owning us who could kill the club completely. We could be facing almost irreversible debt under the wrong ownership.

Whilst this can't be levelled at Denise and bet365 it is looking alarmingly true for SCFC. How bizarre that the more we've thrown at the club the worse we have got. It will sadly be the stuff of legend in future years. We are a laughing stock. And the blame can only lie with those pulling the purse strings.

And that highlights what a shit job the Coates family and weasel Scholes have done since 2016. The club is a basket case with massive debt owed to bet 365 and ffp on the horizon. We will be relegated to league 1. Mark 2 P Coates now = mark 1 P Coates, who was a very nasty piece of work.

You could say I’m a fortunate Stoke fan in that I started going to matches towards the last couple years of the Icelandic’s reign, so I was about 8 years old. This really is my first true experience of Coates not getting with the program. But I’ve heard and read all the stories, it’s becoming scarily like a deja vu situation. Maybe someone else who has better info than me can correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m heard a Chinese investment firm made a bid to either invest in or buy Stoke back in 2016 but the Coates flat out refused. It was texted to me back then but nothing ever came of it. In regards to the huge debt owed to bet365, if Coates does what he did best back in the day, we can be damn sure he wants that money back, because Denise certainly won’t write it off.
