Least of our worries today He made several good saves and catches I don’t recall their goalkeeper having anything to do except collect Vokes goal from the net 🤔

Catch it? You absolute fucking idiot It’s a slow as shit header. Step to the left and catch the thing. It’s awful. Have a listen to the Signal radio post match interview with O’Neill “ I thought Jack was very good today”.Like I said to you yesterday Butland will be in goal for the foreseeable future

Seems to me that the more time Jack has to think about and evaluate a danger the worse he is.
As a reactionary shot stopper he’s not too bad at all but his indecisiveness is his current downfall.

Anybody blaming Butland for that wankfest is a fucking idiot Superb save at 1-0 up, superb save at 1-1 but no fucking defence to help him out He’s as culpable as the rest but fuck off if you are blaming him for that In this game, we'd have lost 4-1 if it wasn't for Butland. I'd be absolutely fuming if I were him. The defence put our goal under threat from the simplest situations. C'Mon MON sort this crap out.

Yesterday aside, he'd he one of the first out of the door for me. Had an absolute fucking mare for 3 years running.
One of those that thinks he's far too good to be here, walks around like his shit smells of roses, always the first to point the finger. Can't stand the bloke.

This youth is fucking useless, why can’t he catch a ball? ffs give him away in January and get him off the books Was he to blame for either of the goals yesterday, did he made several first class saves? The vocal minority bandwagon rolls on

If course you could remember the one he took on Saturday off bruno's head in a very dangerous situation. It was excellent keeping, requiring a good shout and command of your box. That doesnt suit your agenda though does it

Jack was perhaps the only player to play reasonably well on saturday. 1st half especially, he looked more like his old self.
I feel like he may well have done better with the 2nd goal though. Hard to say but the old Jack stops a goal there.

That suggests your point was made purely for the sake of making it. Owning the box obviously means different thing to you, I want a keeper to command his box. Jack's never comes more than a couple of yards from his line to help his defenders. You made a point of him claiming one cross to accuse me of an agenda when it's not the case so who is posting just for the sake of it!!! If Jack had aspirations for international games he needs to move and own the 12yd box he makes no effort to do any such thing he stays on his line. He is flat footed and lacks agility and does not mix it when crosses come in. Edit: I'll mention the last time he cleared a ball on the edge of his box he booted it against Edwards and left an open goal. Was it QPR when he came out was a massive favourite and missed it for an open goal he's no Bruce Grobbelaar that's for sure.

You said you couldn't remember the last time he claimed a cross....I pointed out it was in the very game we are talking about. You never mentioned anything about owning his box. You then say he never comes more than a couple of yards from his line but give two examples of when he did (albeit probably shouldn't have) suggesting he actually does. Butland has made some mistakes the last 3 years but he played well against Hull and Blackburn. Keepers make mistakes, they are often costly but I can name top keepers who do the same. Pickford v Liverpool and Newcastle, Alisson v Brighton, De Gea 3 games in the trot to include Barcelona in the Champions League. This whole thread is about trying to blame a blameless keeper for Saturday's goals. Give the lad break. You might find getting off his back is better than getting on it. He might just find that England form again that keeps us up. Signed.... Goalkeepers Union
