Is it.....if fit, he plays. I really cannot see any other reason, the guy seems undroppable???

i've long suspected this.
naturally it gets shouted down, but i genuinely cannot think of any other reason as to why he is played in every game.
He is a professional, there is no bad attitude, and he appears concise and polite in the media.
However, someone on here said it's like passing to a trampoline, and that is absolute spot on.
As day follows night, his first touch is awful, his second touch is always a tackle/tussle with someone on the opposing side, where he invariably ends up on the floor. Every single time.
Since we signed him, he's displaced and unbalanced the rest of the midfield and we have regressed enormously.
If the opportunity is there to sell, we should, as a club, jump at the chance.

He couldn’t have picked worse midfield today if he tried.
The game was lost as soon as he selected those 3 to play alongside each other. Mental management.
Allen yet again was useless but so were the other 2.

It doesn’t take a footballing genius to realise playing 3 central midfielders who offer neither pace, strength, technical ability or intelligence is a recipe for disaster.
None of them can play a defensive role, none of them are creative and have the ability to play a defence splitting pass.
They just run around a lot and offer little in support of attack or defence.
As for Allen, managers are human and they all fall for a name as much as half the fans do. The reality is he’s an atrocious footballer along with most the others.

Don’t get me started on the lack of full backs, two awfully slow and ponderous centre centre halves, the fanny that is Ince and a forward who won less headers all game than Diouf did in 10 mins.

Can you honestly say Collins, Soutter, Verlinden etc.. would do worse than these experienced pros?
I’m fucking fuming.
In all the years I’ve never seen such an insufferable bunch of tossers on the pitch, at least in years gone by we didn’t have a pot to piss in so it was expected.

Allen yet again was useless but so were the other 2. It's the same midfield that impressed at Barnsley. Playing Vokes as a lone striker and expecting Ince to be a chalk on boots winger was what baffled me.

And in that Woods was bossed as a DM. Ridiculous that he’s carried on playing him there after the Wigan game. Ince was our best player I thought. By best 5/10.

I'm just waiting for the obligatory ...'he wasn't the worst on the pitch today' post to defend Joe
Being the 2nd or 3rd worst has somehow got him off the hook for the last 3 years.
Another headless chicken, chasing shadows performance to add to his CV

Behave Bayern, Ince was dreadful, 2/10?! When was the last time he scored when you didn't expect it? When was the last time he crossed the ball with their full back sprinting towards the line? When was the last time he made an assist?

Do you genuinely believed he wanted to win those headers? They were dreadful because he didn't want it. The shots, puts it wide when it's easier to hit the target and for the other puts it straight into the keepers path. Both and the free header should have yielded more. Tackles... Genuinely didn't see him win anything, must have missed those.

I have to agree with Byern, in the first half he seemed like the only player to give a shit, not his best game etc but out of what we had on the pitch he was one of the better ones.
