I can see some post missing from last night on here. How did you come across this information about MON being home sick and wanting to go back to Belfast, even tho he lives in Edinburgh and has done for years? Ibby is very special.

He’s been criticised for his recent subs but today they worked a treat.
Any interview links yet?

An interesting question to ask would be around the Tyrese Campbell up front on his own substitution before switching to a 442.
I wonder if he was planning on going two up front or panicked by going a goal down, because Campbell on his own is a disaster?

Like the way he comes across, he's a good bloke.
In a gaaaaame saying contest he beats Brendan Rodgers hands down, which is not easy.

Top interview again. A real measured, level headed approach. Refreshing to have a manager who doesn't promise the earth and takes each game as it comes. Moving in the right direction with MON for definite.

It's great to have a manager who's not a total bullshitter, it's been too long.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see BMI as our new left back for the remainder of the season listening to that and also lots of changes for the cup as understandably its not a priority.

[/quotei’m sure Bruno has lost quite a bit of mass and is probably best suited there now too. He was a big strong CB, but he isn’t dominant there now.

Basically confirms the conclusion that anyone watching the end of the game would have drawn - that he’s glad we went out of the cup rather than stay in and have to play a replay. Pretty sad state of affairs really.

Have we ever had a manager who talks with such clarity and sense? His interviews are so reassuring.

Have we ever had a manager who talks with such clarity and sense? His interviews are so reassuring. The big difference here is that it's not all about him. That's what we have had in spadefuls with some of our recent managers. The clarity here partly comes from not being self-obsessed.

MON is right on the money as usual, and good to see he’s not getting carried away. I like the fact that he praised the back 4 and Jack, but also pointed out how poor our passing was at times last night.
Interesting comments in the Nige interview when MON was asked about Allen and Campbell staying. We are clearly open to sensible offers for Joe, but don’t want to lose Tyrese (I like how he blamed NJ for screwing up the contract talks by refusing to play him - spot on.)
