Will this one be for the summer along with a new left back? Let's hope so!

Cosgrove in the scoresheet again this week and Shankland has scored his 29th if the season tonight. Don’t think we’ve heard the last of these two if O’Neill has his way.....

I've watched Shankland tonight once again. Whilst he will be a great player for Dundee United, in my view he's not what we need. He's a finisher, but no pace at all, and physically he won't trouble championship defenders.
It would be a mistake to shell out for either Cosgrove or Shankland and both are wildly overpriced

Damn right we would.

Damn right we would. He can't beat a man. He hasn't got any pace, he's playing at a very low level. Dundee utd will be in the SPL next season and Shankland can be judged then. He is a brilliant finisher no doubt. Dundee utd will want a few million for him. He's not worth that yet.

Lots of clubs looked at him and eventually bid but not mobile and not playing against the best teams. I think when he joined Swindon he was only given a short term deal as was playing non league but scored for fun there.

What Cosgrove, he's playing and scoring at a higher level and is clearly big and strong. Is he good enough?

If either of these arrive then really they should come in as squad players with the potential to nail down a spot. It would be a big call to sign either as a first choice striker.
Any of our existing strikers could do well in scotland.
If cosgrove come in you would have to assume we have a buyer for vokes and it is unlikely

If players are young enough and talented enough they will improve every time they step up until they find their level. Vardy wasnt the player he is now a few years ago in non league (obs) because he didn't need to be. Better teammates and esp. opposition have allowed his development up until he stands tall amongst the best . That's the youngsters we are all searching for.#TALENT

I think there's legs in this. Aberdeen have overpriced players before when we've gone in but I should think this time they are desperate for the money.
