Are we in the clear after the January Fire Sale? Far from it, we've still not sold anyone.

Are we in the clear after the January Fire Sale? There's a massively complicated answer coming "you have consider amortization, green miles and sale of assets.

Would be nice to see in effect, but can't see it happening. Even if it does go ahead, no chance the Premier League will follow it either!

Clubs will find creative ways around it if it does get implemented. No doubt about that.

Unfortunately some clubs will find a way around it, but I actually think this is the right way to go. Hopefully cheaters will pay the price as well in the end!

If a £20 million salary cap came in to the Championship what would be the effect on clubs relegated from the Premier League?
1. Would Premier League contracts HAVE to include a relegation clause specifying that player's contracts MUST enable clubs to stay within the cap?
2. Would it automatically mean the end of parachute payments - or, possibly, modest parachute payments for 1 year only to allow relegated clubs one year to sort out their salary budget?
