It's Stoke Loud & Proud they have not been very reliable for a while just remember the shit they posted about Ryan that even upset his wife.

I really don’t know mate Honestly if this is true, we are fucked. It means that we as a club cannot afford to get rid of Jones and we can't spend money on better players. But if we dont do these things we will inevitably go down leaving us in even more in the shit. We are absolutely in the shit.

If it is true then the club really are losing it big style. They could see this coming from a mile off so I very much doubt that they would be that stupid ....... unless Jacks loss of form and subsequent loss in value has blown their plans out of the water.

Either way FFP is starting to be an issue. And potentially one whereby we need to keep NJ because we cant afford to get rid. The pressure should be directed upstairs rather than NJ if you ask me. They have created a mess that any manager is going to struggle to sort out.

They might be trying to get the club relegated, so its losing money so Bet365 can be seen as losing money, to pay less tax.
After not being in the prem and getting the Tv money, it might be the best for their balance sheet!

Sell the stadium and there's your loophole Sell it to who? It is already owned by a holding company that the family own. The 'club' pays or did pay rent to said company.

Fuuuck That's nearly half of the money which they rejected. Most teams sell the stadium to the chairman to get around this rule (or something like that). I cant really see this being a huge problem, I wouldn't start worrying about it.

I'd be interested to know how much of our dire financial situation is down to the blowing of a season's premier League income on 3 misfits and their very expensive contracts by former Potter's favourite Mark Hughes.

I am sure it is correct we may will have a FFP problem at the end of next season however the £30 million figure is I suspect rubbish as FFP is based on losses each season which is not directly related to transfer spending which is amortised (spread) over the length of the players contract / so that £50m spend would feed into losses over 4 or 5 years unless the player is sold before then in which case the remaining unamortised value less any transfer fee recieved is recognised as a profit or loss. That £50m at £10m or £12.5m a season pretty much uses up the allowed loss per season so we need to break even on everything else.
