Walking along singing a song walking in a Vokesy wonderland. Kill me fucking now. Vokes looking lively momo. He’s like one of those American super trucks, he just needs a few hundred miles to get going before he’s purring like a kitten..... 😂

Having seen Sheff Wed’s forward line recently it’s no surprise. He’s a Sheffield lad as well, would probably do a decent job for them...

"Peter Etebo has been allowed to join Getafe, Badou Ndiaye has gone to Trabzonspor while Joe Allen has interest from West Ham among others." Bidding war for wee Joe? That'll do.

I don’t think getting rid of Gregory would be a good idea really. He’s second choice striker for that solo spot and always does his job. Some games he looks like a force unleashed, sometimes invisible, but he can’t be a big earner or a bad influence surely?

We’d need a replacement arguably, but he was a Bosman so will be on £20k+........

Works hard, but not the kind of striker I will be sad to see leave. I'd rather play Mame to be honest.

Works hard, does have a lovely touch at times however he’s not a finisher. He would work well alongside someone doing the donkey work but he’s offering nothing right now

He can move on for me, if that's what he wants. Only a 10 goal a season striker at best really and that's with penalties!

Well I wouldn't have a problem with it if we hadn't have lost Either Badou or Etebo. That would only leave a midfield pool of Clucas, Woods and Cousins. That would be extremely worrying imo.

Yeah, I would imagine FFP will be a major consideration in any decision re: Allen

We need to get at least one striker out and Hogan.
I just can't make up my mind whether it should be Gregory or Vokes as both have pros and cons.
Vokes will score more goals given games but Gregory will work his bollocks off for you if we can get Powell and the young lads firing.

Yup. Hogan and Duffy (& anyone else?) can go and be filed (if there's room) in our bloated and tatty A4 folder of "totally pointless loans".

Well Hogan was always a stupid loan, never understood it at all. Well considering the main role of being a striker is to score goals then I suppose Vokes wins it. If he gets games he could go on a scoring streak, you never feel that'll happen with Gregory.

Gregory has delivered exactly what we would be expecting. He's scored 10 goals last season with 44 appointments and he's on 4 out of 22 this season. While he doesn't bang them in he does all the other stuff with some degree of success.
Surely if any of our strikers want to leave this window and manage to get interest we'd look to take the cash.

I like Gregory - he's not prolific goal scorer partly because he does a decent job as a lone striker (which leaves him isolated) and his natural game is to be unselfish and set up others. I think we'd get the best out of him if he could form a partnership with a natural goalscorer - like Campbell. Unfortunately it might not happen due to FFP and the need to reduce the squad and wage bill. Real shame.

Can we really afford Allen to leave now we've lost Badou and Etebo We're just reducing our squad numbers by alphabetic selection. Everybody has been generally poor or inconsistent this season with no stand out individuals. Therefore we have given priority to deciding who leaves by Surname initial letters. A-ALLEN. B-BADOU C-CARTER VICKERS. D-DUFFY E-ETEBO. Where we go after that is open to speculation. F-FEDERICI ?

Nothing against Gregory, hard worker, not exactly a game changer but I’d imagine he’s one who needs a strike partner.
