I was wondering how you all get to watch our games these days since we are now slumming it in the Championship?
I've got a mate who is living in the US and he was asking. Any info would be appreciated lads.

Any info would be appreciated lads. Mr Vega, As I'm now spending my time between the USA and Guernsey since we left the Premiershit it's been crap. There are streams you can access, (one on here) but the coverage in the USA has almost disappeared . You can get us when we are on Sky ( although that can also be a problem as it's not the prem) We are off the radar GD

I'm usually too busy on a Saturday morning but for the Swansea game was working away so just used the link that Stoke Loud & Proud page posted on Facebook.

- ESPN+ when they show them--maybe 3-4 times a season--if we were a better team it would be more often (Leeds gets a lot of coverage--there's probably someone over at ESPN whose brother-in-law is a Leeds fan)
- iFollow/Stoke+ when I feel like dropping some coin, although I'm still a bit gun shy on the Stoke+ service from last season
- Most times I just listen to Signal 2 while I'm putzing around in the woodshop, but only if they are actually allowing the broadcast online (which seems off and on this season...legal issues?)
If we get relegated, it will be much more difficult, probably only Signal 2 then if broadcasting, otherwise SOL.
Premier season coverage was obviously easier and better with NBCSports channel.

I haven't been able to watch any of the matches as they happen. After the matches I look on YouTube for highlights, interviews, analysis, etc. I also read the Sentinel. It's not ideal, but I try.

Yeah, I do ESPN+ and Stoke City+ as well.
Stoke City+ is sort of pricey (think it was $150 for the season), but it has improved since they use the Sky feed now. Last season it was literally one camera, no replays, and didn't even have a clock. The issue I have with it this season is they use the Radio Stoke commentators, so there's way more detail than you need for a television broadcast. ESPN+ gets you about 3-4 championship games a week, so not much, but it's only $5 a month. I follow PRO14 so it's good for that too.

Since about 2012 I've almost exclusively watched streams. So it hasn't changed much, except that the streams are a little harder to find, and I've had to pay for a few matches on Stokecity+. Not having instant replay last season was the pits.

ESPN+ when on, otherwise Stoke match live. To be fair it's much improved this season.

Bit of a long story but in summary yes, it's the same. Up until about six months ago there were (I think) four different membership sites (the official site, Stoke City+, SC+Live, club shop) all requiring different login details. They've all now been merged into one "MyStoke" account, accessible through the OS stokecityfc.com. If you were registered on any of the previous platforms you have to do a one-time password reset to activate your "MyStoke" account. If you click on the little head & shoulders profile icon in the top right you'll be asked to sign in or register, either with email or google account or facebook. You have to be careful with that because I know there were some problems caused with people having multiple logins registered... Once you're logged in you can go to the "Match Centre" for the individual game and Subscribe for match passes on SC+Live. Or another option is just watch the stream @barbarian posts for every game on the main page here.

Wreck it Rob has done more for exiled Stokies than the club have ever managed. The Stoke feed last year was a joke. It’s quite quaint listening to our Nige whilst watching this year though. Radio Stoke cannot broadcast the League cup games abroad which was alluded to above. Goodness only knows what will happen should the unthinkable occur this season.
ESPN+ is pretty good value. I had the England games this last break. SCFC 4 or 5 times this season (I think ish) and a load of Champ games.
Rock on Wreck it

Can’t be arsed with the wankers who run the club site even though I paid for the season. Some kind of refund would be nice

Premier season coverage was obviously easier and better with NBCSports channel. Same. They seem to have fixed the Stoke+ stream, although they sometimes use Radio Stoke for commentary and it’s usually out of synch.

And Radio Stoke don't seem to have figured out that the cameras are at the opposite side of the ground from then. Hence 'Stoke are kicking from left to right' isn't helpful!

Watch them when on ESPN+ and listen with Stoke City+ when they are not. Then catch highlights on YouTube.

You do realize that over the radio, direction of play doesn't matter whether the cameras are on the left, right, corner, overhead, in Paris, in Tokyo, turned off, etc. Of course, you could always just turn 180 degrees around while listening... I always shake my head when they state direction of play during Signal 2's broadcast. That and apparently the only idiom Jonty seems to know: "six of one, half a dozen of the other"
