If O'Neill can, and it's a big if, get Vokes motivated and fit & play a style which suits him, he could yet be very effective for us.

We should not loan Badou to Turkey meaning his value is diminishing while his contract runs out.
15m fee or we keep him - we need cash to help out on FFP - running his contract via a loan will not help balance the books at all.
We could be in FIRE SALE territory this January

If a league one manager can get Badou onside, I think a manager with MON's international prowess can do the same.
I wouldn't loan him out, sell him or nothing.

Macedonia is a region of northern Greece which is why until an agreement was in place the country which is now called northern Macedonia had to be called the former Yugoslavian republic of Macedonia

If they want him they can pay the money he's worth. Until then he stays.

What's the obsession with Turkey?? Rubbish league unless you're in a champions league spot. May aswell try and hawk a move to the prem. I'm sure Steve Bruce would have him.

It depends on what value we could get for him - at 29 this is probably the last chance we are going to have to cash in unfortunately

Loved seeing his celebration yesterday in front of the Boothen, seemed genuine passion!
He's doing a good impression of someone who's committed at the moment, even if he is on his way!

When he was warming up on the side well before he went on he was shouting at the players, clapping them and urging them on second half.

The only reason why he is not starting must simply be that he is on his way out. What really surprises me is that no lower half teams in the PL are in for him, he certianly could improve most of those teams. I actually think Everton would have been a perfect destination for him as things stand.

I like N’Diaye but I think that we need to start selling big money players and if we could get 5-6 million for him, I’d take it. Forget a loan back to Turkey though!

It's really quite strange that we didn't try harder last season to hold onto him, as he hasn't exactly kicked up a massive fuss at remaining here after the summer. In fact I'd go as far as to say he looks really happy, everything I have seen of him is really positive and his reaction to our goal was really pleasing. I mean aside from being happy he's also absolutely grafting of course, and the best midfielder in the league for me by a distance. We need to move heaven and earth to hold onto him and Peter Etebo, truly players you can build a team around. What makes you think he's happy?

Like I said Saturday, he’d been injured before the Barnsley game had two games s for Senegal and was on the bench because woods had a stormer against Barnsley so all in all it was fair to start from the bench

What makes you think he's happy? The same way you might judge any other person's happiness, how he comes across when we score or concede and how he interacts with teammates. This guy is an extremely talented footballer. He is ambitious and like all professionals wants to play at the very top of his trade. If he wins games, if he scores goals he will show happiness and joy no matter who he plays for. He shows his joy because he's a winner and he is a craftsman. The sad fact is he still wants to be at the top and he's good enough to be there. He wont be with us next season, in addition he's lost his place in the team.

For all the clamour over Woods performance yesterday, Badou is far superior and should start over him in my opinion.
Woods is a bit unlucky in the sense that with him and Allen together there just isn’t the presence needed to dominate a midfield.

if out of all the players we try to offload in january we manage hang on to badu and etebo i would put that down as a good window. if we could build around these to we have a good chance of turning our season around.

Should we ever manage to return to the Premiership they are probably the only players good enough now
