Thanks whoever posted the stream on YouTube.
At the end of the match the camera zoomed in on Stoke’s bench. On the final whistle Rory jumped up and gave NJ a hug. Hart stood up from his seat, no expression folder in hand simply walked away and down the touchline.
Did anyone else see this, was I seeing things?
I immediately thought what a strange reaction to an away win under current circumstances. Am I reading too much into something that really doesn’t exist i.e are we to see changes

He's probably aware that we should have been getting results like one month ago i.e. a bit too embarrassed to be celebrating seeing as he's partly to blame for an horrendous start to the season.
We need quite a few more points yet before they start all jumping around a congratulating themselves.

Course we could be reading too much into it.... but in that instant it looked like they'd fallen out? .... or possibility II:- he knows he also is destined to go, was pissed off at being there today, going through the motions. Come the final whistle, no airs and graces, he walks off?

If the Board really want to put their faith into the NJ project, the first thing they need to do is bin Hart and replace him with a more tactically astute coach to support Nath. Hart is a miserable, negative sod.

Hart is a miserable, negative sod. ... and bring Rutter back That would be fantastic, but don't think Rutter would come back to England. He left Luton because of all the commuting to Luton from his family home in Yeovil. Commuting to Stoke from Yeovil would be just as wearisome. Besides, he's now assistant manager for a team in the Greek league, where somehow he is able to see his family more than he was able to when he was at Luton. Either way, we need a No. 2 for NJ with up-to-date FA coaching badges and a fresh, more expansive outlook on the game.

He's what you call understated ! Mildly entertaining read... thewashbag.com/2012/05/16/hall-of-shame-13-paul-hart/"...Hart remained blankly impassive, like an Easter Island’s statue made flesh. For the most part he seemed to be the first man likely to have failed the Turing test"

In interviews he takes twice as long as a normal person to formulate a sentence. He wouldn't get any other professional job as he comes across as a bumbling idiot.

He's always been a bit of a miserable sod hasn't he? You're projecting yourself unto him. He's an inspirational coach. This is an extract from Swindon Town's Hall of Shame: Hart’s use of 451 was wholly, horribly, negative in application. The borrowed donkey Andrew played in splendid isolation as the ‘1’, the packed midfield ‘5’ were flat, distant and listless, and the defensive ‘4’ deep and no more organised than under Wilson. And that slow, pointless, possession football, which at first had looked like confidence building, became Town’s only, and hugely predictable tactic. Sounds familiar, could it have been Rory who pressured Nathan into finally playing two upfront and ditching McClean?

Maybe he shows emotion another way?
Maybe inside he was bubbling, but is the type who is reserved and doesn't jump around?
This is the same bollocks as having a go at Jones for being too emotional.
Different people react differently to things.
No negatives yesterday, all of them were fantastic.

Could have been a moment of relief and simply “a thank fuck for that” moment.
Also getting giddy over one win in however going back to last season is a good trait to have imo! 😂

Once again a negative thread - I'm coming round to the view that there is more wrong with the attitude of Stoke "fans" than the players.
Hart is old school; did you ever see Alf Ramsay jumping round in glee? When England won the world cup he told a jubilant Harold Sheppardson to stop making an exhibition of himself.
Did you ever see Jimmy Greaves have a mental when he scored? He usually ran to pick up the ball out of the net and run back to the centre circle to get ready to try and score another one.

I'm more inclined to say that he knows that result still makes no difference to the situation and that him and Nathan will be replaced shortly.....or is that wishful thinking?

Hmm, I'm not sure it warrants it's own thread if I'm honest but if the OP does then fair enough. The cynical side of me is tempted to think that during what should be a time of unbridled joy some feel the need to find issues and bring the general mood down because it suits their own agenda to do so. Think I'll go and watch the highlights yet again, it's been enough games since I've wanted to
