Only the history books will tell whether this result has any significance. It could go either way... some miraculous resurrection that sets the club for the future or continued dilly dallying that sees us relegated... I just don't know.

One swallow doesn’t make a summer, but that team played for their manager today in the box there was bodies absolutely everywhere.
He deserves time for me, that was nearly the stoke he promised, old stoke. we have absolutely battered the top of the table team and bar 5 minutes of pure madness didn’t look like conceding.
Is Nathan Jones our Alex Ferguson 😂 (I joke) but deserves more time on this basis.
He has to play the same team now, go with the diamond, but I’d swap hogan and Campbell, let’s get some consistency and hopefully picking up some points.
He’s proved he can work miracles as Badou is the best player on the park week in week out, and Apparently he ran over and picked jones up after the winner.
What an absolutely brilliant TEAM performance, and after this week Nathan you certainly deserve it.
UTP!

The performance was outstanding, it would be incredible if he got sacked after that. You've changed your tune

Worst possible result for the board, given the way he’s been treated this week. Still think he’s off based on how much the rumour mill is churning.

There are some posters on here that are absolutely fuming that we won!!!
How sad and pathetic.
Get in stoke and brilliant for Jones

It would be insane to sack him off the back of that. Best performance in a long time, the players giving 110%. Badou celebrating with NJ when we scored, the players one hundred percent playing for him. We dominated top of the league on merit.
I imagine that there are a few miffed Stokies on here that we managed to win and it goes against their agenda.
Onwards and upwards

He does. Maybe the players are with him.
That midfield was excellent. Benefits of not carrying Ince.

That was such an insipid performance on Tuesday, however not once have I ever felt they AREN'T playing for him. Today being a good example, Nathan cares, I think the players care, they've just had loads of brain farts this season.

Easily pleased some people but very short-sighted with a dose of memory loss. Apart from the first suicidal minutes you can’t really fault that performance. A deserved win and some strong spirit. What do you want ? There’s a long way to go yet, we all know that but let’s enjoy a good solid performance. It seems some are disappointed we’ve won🙄

I understand those saying that he should still go it is only one win after all, but this is what he's been working on, this is how he wanted us to play sustained attacking football, and we've just seen it, surely we can't just go and waste the opportunity after its finally all come together, a new man comes in and we're starting all over again, I just don't see the positives in it.

What I saw at the end, him the players, the management team how they reacted with each other. That didn’t look like a man who was getting the sack. Didn’t look like the manager had lost the dressing room either. What really, I was told weeks ago on here that they clearly weren't playing for him

No he doesn't. The only reason we got this performance today is because he's only caretaker right now.

Moyes? No tar ... Hughton all day! Moyes is just a name, with a recent record that isn't that great. Keep NJ in a while longer otherwise.

Stick with the same formation and personnel and without making mistakes we could find some consistency. Whether Jones would do that is not certain. Good performances against Charlton and Derby were then chucked away by sweeping changes without giving a core team time to click. Badu and Etebo have the potential to drag us back up this league.

The performance was outstanding, it would be incredible if he got sacked after that. But wouldn't it be typically Stoke. Give him a reprieve after the most abject performance in years against Huddersfield and then sack him after one of the best performances and results for a couple of seasons.
