All relative, if we could get Hughton or Moyes then happily, but if the alternative is O'Neill or Pardew then stick for a wee bit longer.

This is the problem. I want Stoke to win, but you just know one win can easily turn heads. "I have hope in Jones." Really you have hope from 1 win? We're bound to win at some point, we need to do the right thing and find a new manager over this international break. But our owner is naive and you know this result will paper over cracks.

Don't care who the manager is if they play like that fucking great.

Amazing, we gifted them a goal yet this time took our rewards for decent football.

Actually sack him in the dressing room and leave him in South Wales. Economical.

Tough decision for the board now. It was almost certainly his last game and we win and put in the best performance of the season.

Just means the charade carries on for longer.
Thanks for three points (finally) Jones but the game has been up for months.

The performance was outstanding, it would be incredible if he got sacked after that.

Well well well..... so what do you think about that then...
Simply brilliant performance from every single player & manager.
Last minute winner away v top of the league ( not done that for how long?)
Turning point?

Joyous today. Absolutely joyous. But this team performed like that - best performance under NJ - only when its clear NJ is to be replaced. Motivation probably came from a mix of shame and relief. Unsustainable. But Jones, will leave with his head a little higher at least, and the players now know they have it in them. And perhaps Hughton or Moyes will see material they can work with.

Just glad we've won a game whoever the fuck is in charge if we play like that and win it doesn't matter. The players deserve the plaudits today in the same way they deserve the stick they get when we loose. This should go for the manager aswell.

That's not just a win. It's a bloody good win. Down after a minute, expecting heads to drop, away from home against top of the league. Still can't say Jones deserves to stay but as a side of being happy at Stoke winning, I'm happy for Jones. He's been crap so far in terms of results but I'm happy that he's got a win. I still think he'll go but, if they give him another game, you could understand why.

The display and team selection on Tuesday was inexcusable.
Today has proved that we have lots of decent players: N'Diaye and Etebo are possibly the best in league.
A decent manager would have this squad in the promotion shake-up,

I want to see two more wins on the bounce before I feel like the turn has happened. Great win, but the players are playing for him now seeing N'Diaye hug Jones after the goal. They also are still letting in stupid goals.

If the board have dithered and dithered after each abject surrender they arent going to get rid after that.
Are they ?

If you just base your opinions on the table then obviously you'd tout Jones to be out. But if you watched the matches, you'd see that individual errors and general luck have always put us that one step behind.
He should be given more time, because if we play like we played today then we should boss the league. Remember there's still 35 matches to be played, for all we know we could go on a 35 match running-run and the bandwagoners would be seeing Jones as some god.

That performance today was outstanding. To a man. Not one person I could heavily criticise really.
We played superb. We go behind and come back with so much character and determination, the most we've had all season. A joy to behold. We passed it around so well and our decision making improved dramatically. Good amount of shots on target, completely different to Huddersfield. So proud of that display. Well done Jones, and well done Stoke.
And okay, Jones hasn't had a great season, we all know that. But if the powers that be decide to call it now, I'll be happy knowing he ended it all on that performance, and that he will have at least gone down fighting in that match. Bittersweet really that that could be his best match with us and his last. Such a shame we haven't played this all season.
Well done Stoke.

Just perhaps the board where only prepared to let him go if Hughton took the job and have decided he is still better then the rest, I would like see new no 2 come in to help him out just like Francis did with Pulis.
