Are the Coates family becoming part of the problem too? In truth they have been for a long time. But never more than in this moment has the depth of their ineptitude been so clear

FUCKING COATES OUT PAIR OF FUCKING CUNTS Comments like this are unacceptable TBH and have no place on this or any other platform, I'm as unhappy about the current situation as anyone but this is bang out of order! Gouranga. Too right Albert- we're all angry, confused and disappointed but I see no reason in losing the plot like that on a forum It helps no one nor the situation

Did you hear he’d gone Paul? Nope. I was convinced that he would be though. I think the board have completely lost the plot. I'll be making good on my £100 donation to DLT though. Good man Paul at least there’s a positive from this shambles I think Hackett said he’d donate 100 too.

So we stumble on till the international break. Christ. Let's hope they 'in talks' - if not this has League One written all over it

Unbelievable. Absolutely criminal. What on earth are we playing at?
From the link:
"Stoke follow the Huddersfield `six-pointer' with a trip to Swansea next Saturday before the two-week international break."
A six pointer two months into the season
It really is unbelievable
I think he has until Swansea and they'll get rid at the break if things don't change

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call.
Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak.

OK so what happens if we get a scrappy win against a side as bad as us, and then get rinsed by Swansea and Fulham?
That would still be 5 points and 1 win in 12.
The longer we wait the harder it'll be to attract someone half decent.

I'm flabbergasted.
The crowd not baying for blood yet and the manager seemingly throwing in the towel. If we were going to part amicably now was the time.

So if we fluke a 1- 0 win does it give him a 3 month lifeline similar to Hughes after the Watford away win 2 years ago ?

I see people’s point, but what difference is it really going to make if he goes before Tuesday, there would be zero chance of a new manager before then
I would think it’s a must win for him and that might not even be enough

Hughton must be playing hardball with Coates on his contract terms. Surely the only reason why we’d delay his appointment?

It might be a one man protest but I aren’t going if he’s still there.
Why give a new boss a massive task if we lose to Huddersfield, rather than a slightly less difficult task should we win.

Peter Coates- more Karl Oyston than Jack Walker.
IF the worst happens this season, it would be the third spell in the bottom two divisions under the Coates' stewardship.

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call. Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak. It’s disgusting is what it is FM. This schtick that we’ve heard for years about what a well run club we are has rapidly been unravelled for the complete myth it is. They quite simply haven’t got a clue, and I don’t think they’ve got the motivation for it any more.

I can only console myself with the thought that the Board are in talks with our new manager and they are unlikely to be concluded before Tuesday.
On the other hand, if Jones was sacked today and they put Bayern In charge just for Tuesday’s game then I don’t think we would do any worse in what is our biggest game since relegation 16 months ago.

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call. Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak. The only reasonable explanation is that they don’t want a repeat of the Hughes/QSF/Lambert debacle and want the new man ready and waiting to step straight in once the axe falls. Or am I giving them too much credit here and they really have lost the plot

Personally I don’t think they will sack him , there’s zero chance of going down , this season will be one of ironing out all the problems , NJ can’t legislate for all the mistakes the players are making , Butland and Edwards playing like schoolboys , NJ will come good and deliver
