Nope. It’s from when they beat Leeds in the play offs. Plenty of bullshit in this story. I’ve also been told that the leg pictures aren’t him. He wasn’t wearing training gear on the night out. Fair enough with the bar bill but the picture is from a footballers group chat and he ain’t wearing trading gear in that pic

Safer for the club to have them involved in a match than out roaming the streets and getting into trouble.

Wonder how they’ll justify sacking Keogh and not the other two clowns.
I’d say he’s got an arguable case and Derby will end up having to pay him something (not that he deserves it)

I wonder if we’d have done the same as a club🤔 It will be very interesting to compare this to the Berahino case, where the suggestion in the press was that we couldn't sack him because we legally wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Perhaps they're paying up the remainder of his contract, which was only until the end of the season anyway?

The Guardian understands that Derby offered him only a fraction of the money that he would otherwise have collected over the remainder of his contract.

Because they’ve got value probably Tbh any decent workplace lawyer will nail Derby Gross misconduct according to the club statement mate Without knowing the ins and outs mutts it smells a little The 33 year old passenger is sacked as he is injured for another 12-14 months ( technically his career ) and that covers the remainder of his contract The two young drivers who were pissed and left the scene of the crime and who weren’t injured meaning they can be useful are technically slapped on the wrist because they have value Gross misconduct my arse

Fair play though it's a giant can of worms here I'd imagine legally.
Puzzling how the two drivers are back in the team though

Should say that Keogh being Captain & having a bigger degree of responsibility will of had a bearing to. Oh and likely the fact he's damaged goods now. Not right but is any business in footy ever right or seem logical these days?! One of the only sports where as a manager you can still get paid handsomely for being rubbish & subsequently sacked!

Unbelievable hypocrisy from Debry, Their statement is a complete contradiction. I hope the club get all, they deserve. The 2 drivers surely should face harsher punishments! They broke the law. Keogh may be the more senior but didn't break the law

Injured player with no real value - sacked 2 fit players with a decent future ahead of them - given a pitiful punishment.
This stinks at first glance, could get messy (for Derby’s sake I hope it does)

"As we have said from the outset, the club will not tolerate any of its players or staff behaving in a manner which puts themselves, their colleagues, and members of the general public at risk of injury or worse, or which brings the club into disrepute," they said I should consider drink driving and crashing your car would constitute "behaving in a manner which puts themselves, their colleagues, and members of the general public at risk of injury or worse, or which brings the club into disrepute," So, can we expect 2 more sackings?

Not unless they are 33 and are recovering from an injury which keeps them out of action for 14 months, by which time their career is practically over. Would Stoke be that cynical? I’d like to think not but you can see where Derby are coming from. Might have been better to pay off his contract minus help with his rehabilitation.
