Very similar to my first game vs Burnley in 1963............stood next to Dad in Boothen end amongst the tobacco smoke and smell of piss and beer. Great memories and we drew 4-4. Glad your lad had a great day. All right then, memory time. That game was followed by another 4-4 draw with Wednesday before we beat brum 4-1. What a team, Ritchie an all. If only we had the same type of players now

If only we had the same type of players now Memories eh! In Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday games we lead 3-0 and 3-1 at half time only to squander it second half. The Burnley game was famous for our Eddy Clamp's red card for flattening their winger Connelly with a head butt. Eddy ran down the tunnel before the ref reacted.
