Just a quick question:I am taking my three year old son to his first ever Potters game on Saturday v Bristol City and I wondered if anyone can confirm that Pottermus still walks around the concourse of the family stand? I haven't been in the family stand for several years and my son is Pottermus' number one fan! If anyone can confirm that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I cannot shed any light on the movements of Pottermus, I'm afraid.
But I am reasonably confident that child abuse is a criminal offence.

The Pottermus & Pottermiss are usually in the concourse for pictures if you manage to get there early enough. Failing that the Pottermus usually walks around the perimeter just in front of the family stand so it may mean going down towards the front but they're usually there or there abouts. I took my daughter to her first game when she was 3yrs, hope he enjoys his day.

There is an argument to say that if you subject a child to a present day Stoke performance, anything else that happens in their lives will be a more pleasant experience.

Tbh I have always been grateful to my dad for taking me. Many, many years ago. A good life lesson. Given that life is a sexually transmitted disease. Terminal in every case.

Just be careful, due to our capitulation on the pitch he’s now got a monkey dust addiction and pickpockets for fun.

My lads first game was crewe away (friendly a couple of seasons back). He was only two and freaked out when everyone started clapping when the players come out. Ended up jumping on the train home without seeing the games. Took him Norwich last season, and QPR this season. Hes just turned four. You'll feel proud as anything when u take your lad down there

Cheers Dave. I've always dreamt of having a son and taking him to watch the mighty Potters - just a shame we ain't so mighty anymore but they will always be his team, so he's going to have to endure the shit that all of us mugs have subjected ourselves to over the years. Thanks again.

The greatest lie you can tell a lie is that life is fair and about enjoying yourself all the time

I took my Twin Sons when they were 4 MONTHS old, a 1- 1 draw with Rotherham (Peter Thorne) 19 years ago.
Both are Stoke daft season ticket holders, and have been for many years, so be careful what you wish for!

Thanks chaps! I'm a 48 year old, old fart to have a three year old (although I'm cool as feck - In my humble opinion). Just hope his first game is marked with a win, or will it be the end of and/or start of a new era??? Time will tell but he will always be a Potter - poor lad. Thanks again chaps!!!

Just hope his first game is marked with a win, or will it be the end of and/or start of a new era??? Time will tell but he will always be a Potter - poor lad. Thanks again chaps!!! Remember my first match was a 0-2 home defeat to QPR in the early 80's & the result really didnt matter, I'd been to see my first Stoke game, I'd seen and sampled the iconic Victoria Ground atmosphere, from that point on there really was no turning back. & to live through & survive that awful period in my early Stoke supporting years when all my class mates were Liverpool & Everton fans was certainly character building to say the least but I wouldnt of changed a thing. Stoke were far from being the best team around & a million miles away from lifting silverware but Stoke was my club & my local team to go & watch. Not sure looking back if any of my Liverpool, Everton & Man Utd supporting mates even ever went to watch their teams live in a match, & that's to this day! I always think that the emotion of Stein scoring our winning goal in the Autoglass Trophy Final & the sight of Vinny Overson lifting it at the old Wembley meant more to us Stokies that day than any FA Cup or League title would do to the majority of Man Utd & Arsenal fans who've simply won just another trophy! Maybe that's just abit telling of how unsuccessful we've been as a club over the years & were easily pleased by our Football League Trophy successes but those days will still live long in the memory of those who were there. & whilst they weren't major honours in the grand scheme of things, they were still our silverware & we'd earnt them both! After all, 'We've won it 2 times....."!
