Scholes is still in Japan! I knew I'd seen him somewhere before - he's the keyboard player isn't he?

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-transfer-news-diouf-3273771Will Nathan Jones still be in charge against Bristol City? (Naomi Davies, Cheshire) Yes. I think so!
You never stick your neck out too far in football, but the wind is blowing in that direction as we speak. This is not a sacking club, despite evidence to the contrary in recent years, and the owners have invested far too much time, faith and resource into Nathan Jones to ditch him at the first available opportunity.
I’m sure they are hoping this break gives everyone time for a breather and then to go again in a fortnight.

He's staying in my opinion. No doubt about it after Spinksy's little nugget. He's very lucky - and not sure he'll survive even one more defeat against Bristol City

Burying their heads in the sand again. They should be more worried about relegation to League 1 than about their reputation in the footballing world! 😡

He needs to be given time to turn us from a Premiership setup into a div 1 setup he can understand .He will then build a club as great as Luton which is what the Rowett haters wanted .Ps Anyone who watched the Tony and John interview and thinks this club is going anywhere but down is deluded......

I don't think it is our style to just sack the manager unless there is someone else lined up.
I'm sure we are putting out feelers, maybe a positive response from a moyes or hughton would prompt them to take action?
Really really hope so. I can't believe Jones will still be in charge for the next game. Surely not

No it’s head in the sand time unless they’re totally certifiable.

The thing is, we have an uninterrupted two week break here which should be the perfect time for behind the scenes action to go on without disrupting the team.
Instead we're going to wait for what will be an inevitable loss to a Bristol City side far, far better than our own. Our fixtures are only getting harder coming up and even if we do get a win it's hard to imagine anything other than one absolutely bungled which will be no signal of an improvement.
Our shite results are less of an indicator of Jones' need to be sacked than our abject performances and his tinkering, one win won't reflect in any way that Jones should remain.

This is NOT a club statement, this is Spinks saying he thinks he will be in charge. It doesn't sound like he's been told anything.
Still no official word from the club.

It's coming. Spinksy wasn't taking a punt, and was speaking with the confidence of someone who knew full well which way the wind was blowing. He's obviously been told nothing is going to happen this international break

He's obviously been told nothing is going to happen this international break Yep, especially coupled with the club posting this Zero chance they'd tweet that and sack him before his next league game... Perhaps most annoying is them nailing their flag to the cross so early, surely atleast sound out potential interested parties and use the international break to have a think rather than deciding in the first weekend to keep him.
