Stay, very encouraging beating Swansea away and Fulham at home. Team is growing in confidence, kept a settled side. I'll give him till January.

Not out of the woods by any means. However, it took a couple years to get where we are and it’s not going to be turned around over night. Don’t forget Fergie was literally one match from getting the sack and look how that turned out! For every Fergie scenario there’s dozens of others than continued to fail and were unable to turn it around. I bet you’re the life of the party!

Fantastic 3 points , but 8 from 36 get him gone

How many games do you give him? What record to stay? Give it a rest and enjoy another victory... if that’s possible for you.

He's earned another game. 6 points from 6 points is encouraging but the performances have been excellent. Still must win the next game though for me. Exactly this! I know we were losing but our performances up until Swansea were woeful. I can sometimes forgive a loss if we perform.

He fucking stays and we get behind him because he has finally learnt from his mistakes the corner has been turned the players are onside. No more chopping and changing we stick with this project

If he can keep them winning or picking up points then I am more than happy to have him here. Sometimes you have to slip to the bottom before you turn things round in life and football. It could be a great moment for the team to push on. They have played well you can't deny that. Onwards and upwards

Credit where it’s due - he was given a chance he arguably didn’t deserve after the Huddersfield defeat and he’s repaid the faith shown in him by the directors with the best possible response. He stays for me now as there’s little to be gained in another mediocre / dinosaur appointment.......so keep it up Jonesy....

If we’d appointed a new manager two games ago, he wouldn’t have done any better.
Jones in. Pump that fucking pigeon chest Nath.

He's here for the season at least. The time to sack was after Brum away. The opportunity was not taken.
Onwards and upwards. We've just beaten two of the best in the division back to back.

We’ve suddenly turned in to a team that looks like a team, wins games and scores penalties.
THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD.......

For the first time in my decades of supporting Stoke, I really don't know whether I want him to stay or go.
Plus, I am not actually sure I care. Even if he goes, the club is a complete shitshow from top to bottom. We're the worst club in the league on so many levels. It's more embarrassing to be a Stoke fan now than at any time in our history. I can't bring myself to like ANY of the current squad, apart from perhaps Federici. I can't shake off the idea that they are only now playing better in order to make a move in January more likely.

Why? Can this person not have an opinion or ask a reasonable question? Or yes as long as it fits an agenda?

Couldn’t sack him now but for me despite the two last wins he should have been sacked weeks ago. We’ve looked miles better but off a very low base. I think we’ll ultimately regret now sacking him. Gary , let it go 😎

It’d be bizarre to sack him now unless they had an A-list manager lined up, as it stands I’d rather stick with jones for a bit longer than appoint someone like Chris Hughton.

Isn’t his record much better than Jones’? What have I missed? The fact Hughton has had a much longer managerial career, maybe ? I was a jones skeptic when he came in and up until the last two games I have been calling for his head but he looks like he might have turned a bit of a corner now, if he has then we potentially have one of the best young managers in the game.

He stays. No way he can be sacked after the last two performances, regardless of how bad we have been previously.
If he turns this around it will be a miracle, but as it stands he has earned himself some time to prove whether or not it's a flash in the pan.

Isn’t his record much better than Jones’? What have I missed? Also, Hughton is very much a manager in the pragmatic Pulis mould, his teams aren’t great to watch. It’s early days but maybe Jones has now got to grips with the job ? ... he’s at least bought himself 2-3 more games anyway.
