Where is Mick McCarthy?
Find a manager with a more successful record in the Championship?
Though I guess he wouldn't give up RoI for Stoke now!

Not going for my wildcard - Inchy Heath*? *No idea if he'd up sticks/dis-invest from US though.

Any manager worth his salt would not touch the club with a barge pole. The whole club is rotten to the core and a dysfunctional mess imo and it dunna look like it will be getting better any time soon. We are fucked.

Can't say I've been avidly following things to be honest mate, but seems to have been settled at Minnesota United since end of 2016. Got off to a slow start (yeah, just what we need, I know) but has a 37% win ratio in over 90+ games. Given his history and US links back to us (Orlando etc.) it'd an outside possibility to see him back here I guess. And would he be a right fit at this time? Who knows? Been a long time out of England but maybe some fresh ideas might be what we need.

It would be a huge gamble for any manager. We seem perfectly capable of ending/ruining any manager's career at the moment. Hughes, Lambert, Rowett, now Jones...we've killed them all! They haven't all gone shit overnight as soon as they joined us, Hughes proved that. We had three seasons of great football and results under him before it all went tits up. There is a bigger malaise at the club.

More important than the manager is the CEO who has so far made 4 mistakes with managers and clearly is not up to the job of managing, selecting or motivating; he's likely to make a 5th error! the owners must be weary, upset and embarrassed and where would we be without them, probably like Bolton when you sweep the stairs clean you start at the top

Bear in mind we were relatively comfortable in the premier league when he left us and now we sit rock bottom of the championship. His stock may have fallen since he was named premier league manager of the year but ours has rapidly fallen too. Who would it be a backward step for Pulis or Stoke?
