It's a big dramatic time to see if we've reached the point where we actually win a bloody league game. If they don't win tomorrow, the keyboard warriors will be out in force!

When was the last time we won a league game at St. Andrews? Loads of wins at Villa and West Brom spring to mind, and a few at Molineux but can’t think of any at brum.

That won't happen in a million years. It needs to, gives Butland time to re-focus and the defence might settle down slightly as they won’t be on edge every time the keeper is called upon. You may be right but there is a commercial side to this as well. If Butland is dropped for 5-6 games and Fedirici and the team performs well then Butland will (should) have to wait for a further opportunity. If he ends up becoming our reserve keeper then there goes several million of any potential transfer fee. Butland is our best keeper going through a bad time. At some point we will want him playing if only to keep up his sale value. Surely, he can't be this shite forever..can he? If he wants to play, I would be inclined to pick him for Brum over Federici.

Standard Stoke that is.

I hope he gets a little bit of luck that we've been missing.
No costly individual errors and the rub of the green in front of goal.
Still convinced there is a good team (and squad) there ready to climb the league once he finds the right balance and they get a bit of confidence back.

I have absolutely no idea what the team will be from one game to the next. I must be Nathan Jones!! Before every game we always say what team we would like the manager to pick, and predict what team we think he will pick. We then hear what team he has actually picked and quite often the three teams are all different. It's always been like that with every manager, but usually just the odd player or two, nothing like the current situation. We have a squad of 20odd players and hardly any of them are automatic picks, either for him or the fans.

I can't think of any of his signings that have improved us?

Butland Federici Smith Edwards Batth Collins Lindsay BMI CCV McClean Ward Cousins Woods Allen Clucas Etebo Ndiaye Powell Ince Duffy Verlinden Vokes Hogan Gregory Campbell
We seem to have 25 players with pretty much an equal chance of starting any given game now.
About the only one in and around things who probably won't is Verlinden.
And based on his comments, we can maybe rule out Collins and Clucas tomorrow, as well as Powell.
But any of the other 21 seem to have a pretty much equal chance, and it could be pretty much any formation.
So glad that's cleared up then!

Not sure why I'm feeling ok about Brum? If Nate's even half right about the false position, maybe we have got the toxic crap out of our system and we can finally relax into the new season... or maybe feminine intuition doesn't exist after all...

I reckon he is most likely to play those who did not start on Tuesday, with maybe the odd exception. Jack has a knock too, I think he said.
