Fucking hell. What a fucking bellend you are. 8/13 is that? If it’s for the good of the club then why not? We’ve been here before. Beating Southampton kept Hughes in a job and it ultimately led to this. Losing that game would have been way better than a hollow irrelevant 1-0 win. The bigger picture here is one of ultimate survival. Not one game.

Fucking hell. What a fucking bellend you are. I’m a bellend too then. The worst thing would be scraping a draw at Brum and this charade continuing. The international break is coming up and that is the time to get someone in who will sort out this shit show. You leave it longer the new person doesn’t have that two week window to organise them and we risk digging an even deeper hole to get ourselves out of before Christmas.

You don't just write off the problems the club have, it's been in a toxic vacuum since late 2015. The problems are deep, going to take a fuck tonne more than just ignoring the last 5 games.

The word is 'albeit' although it is a contraction of 'all be it' in practice it should never be written that way.

Whatever side of the divide we’re all on, he surely has zero chance of surviving a pasting at Birmingham? Hopefully we get beat. Confirmation of we already assumed, you are an absolute tool.

Confirmation of we already assumed, you are an absolute tool. Why? If he’s sacked on the back of it, it’s way better for the club than winning and this charade carrying on. This is way bigger than one game now. He stays for longer than this month and we’re relegated.

This shit was said last season when we wiped 19 games was it? How many games are we going to keep wiping for this idiot? What makes him so idiotic Bayern ? He genuinely seems to be trying to turn our fortunes around . It's been a shit start yes , but I've still got faith in him to get it going. Calling him an idiot , is a bit uncalled for . Genuinely trying to change our fortunes around? That's his job. Minimum requirement. He isn't being paid to make us worse, but that's what's happening.

And you have the nerve to call the manager an idiot. It worked so well when we beat Southampton didn’t it..... Look at the bigger picture. If I was a Stoke director I'd be thinking of the next manager right now, regardless of the result at Birmingham. There's no excuse for wanting your team to lose.

There's no excuse for wanting your team to lose. I agree Dave but you know that the Stoke directors don’t think like that and it will need yet another loss. And If that result means I think we stand a better chance of not getting relegated then of course you want it to happen. Why wouldn’t you?

I'm certainly not wanting a defeat at Brum. But as you allude to there is a limit to how much we can go on like this . Other posters may be able to point to games that have saved managers only for it to be a false Dawn. Myself I can suggest Watford away Fletcher goal, saved Hughes . Rowett possibly Bristol City away or was that too early in the season ? Either way you can't keep flogging a dead horse. I don't want us to lose I want us to turn up and put on a great performance but I can totally get what you mean

I'm afraid that one or two of Jones signings should join the other donkeys on the sand at Blackpool!

Lets say we did part company with Nath, can you honestly tell me anyone that would firstly be able to turn it around and secondly be remotely interested in coming here to do that? I am not a great fan of Leeds United, but the way they played yesterday against the way we played was night and day. Its sadly not just Leeds either, we are without a doubt the worse team in the league, playing the slowest turgid football going and very much bottom of the league on merit. I'm just not sure a managerial change will give us all that much of a change, and I'm not sure we can really afford to go through another major squad rebuild. Where do we go from here?

As much as he's a moaning Minnie Pejic was Bob on when I put it on in the car after the game. Jones banging on about us aspiring to be Leeds. Leeds have been down over a decade, we have the Premier millions and the biggest budget in the division. Clubs would die for our resources.

That is the thing for me, I bet we spent more on sam vokes than the whole of the Preston and Charlton squad are worth combined. It's not about the money, for me it's about a collection of players that dont look up for it, no idea what they are supposed to be doing, have no sence of urgency, and I'm sure you could count the number of shots on target this season on two hands. This is simply not good enough, and I cant understand why we cant shake it, regardless of manager and indeed the whole new team that have come in.

I really wanted Jones to succeed but I feel getting us out of this slump will need the biggest turn around since Jesus gave Lazarus a shake and said Wake up mate there’s a bloke at the door with a box and a shovel.

You're right its definitely a conundrum. We've had two major rebuilds ( if you can call what was done over the summer a rebuild that is ) already and we've only been in the league a year and a bit. Hard to see why a decent manager would want to come here and tarnish their reputation.. other than for a big pay packet which is the sort of attitude that led us here in the first place. Absolutely nothing at the club seems to be functioning properly. I wonder if this is what Denise meant by self-sufficiency?
