Some of the link up play and movement from Leeds when they turned it on was superb. They made us look like schoolboys. They will piss the league for sure. That first goal we haven’t got anyone at the club who could pick that pass.

What hurt? Knowing that as soon as the opposition scored, you just know we're going to fold and conceed more. No comeback, no saving a point, no confidence, no hope.

They were average for 35 minutes, but still created a good chance. It was in all honesty a top top tactical display.
Keep it tight first half, take the sting out of the team and their fans. If we pinch one great.
Open up second half.
We were done. Tactically. Ability wise. Everything. They were better all over.

I'm fuming at our performance today; We were beyond shit, but I have to say Leeds were superb. They look every bit a premier League side to me.

They were decent, put in the perfect away performance and we couldn’t have complained if they’d scored 4 or 5.
They were very good at committing tactical fouls. Every time we broke through their midfield they made sure they brought our player down. It’s something we are absolutely useless at.

What hurt today...it still feels like bad dream every time we play, it's just not stopping, going away this awful journey we've been on since 2017. I honestly thought it couldn't be any worse than relegation but when you think we have currently sunk 35 fuckin places , take that it. There is no plan or sign that this can be stopped. This is not stoke

Even the blind lady's seeing eye dog was barking.
Jones can take himself, and his fat manager who likes sitting on a barrel, and go straight to hell.

They had 31 attempts on goal. And they were the away side. That was embarrassing.

Leeds are a good team, we got our arse spanked. I don’t mind losing to Leeds, they will be around the top 2 at the end of the season. It was the way that we capitulated that really worries me. We have a serial losers mentality and the way they were knocking it around in the second half with us not laying a boot on them showed me this team has accepted this and has no fight or spirit.

What hurt was that Leeds were actually a bit makeshift themselves today, particularly a the back. Dallas is a left winger at right back. Ayling, Cooper and Douglas were all injured. But they all knew their jobs - irrespective of whether it was their usual one, and collectively looked a good team. Oh to see a team. They never looked anything but in 100% control, to the extent that they could even take off their best forwards with a fair few minutes left to go. It was about organisation, tactics, and game plan.

It's shocking how far the fall is lasting. A few times over the last couple of seasons I had thought that they'd finally been slapped back into reality to turn this thing around, but I guess what hurts is that we've still not reached that turnaround point yet.

Correct me if wrong, but I don't think we have had a shot on goal before we were 3-0 down in any of our last two games. That is really food for thought in my opinion!

I understand stoke city loan debt . I understand why we were relegated I understand we wasted money on bringing in the wrong characters. Taken on board all that happened. I expected our new players to have determination, positive mindset, give 100% , lacking in talent maybe , never say die attitude. We have nothing. When you don't have the right mindset. Little point in turning up. WHY do we already have a team of nervous wrecks. Victoria, this team today have never played together. We had three kids at the back who tried their best. Cousins just isn’t good enough unfortunately. McClean is what he is and gives his all. Edwards had a mare today but kept trying. Gregory didn’t stop running. Etebo is Etebo and today he played 90 minutes for the first time - he looked knackered. The only one who you can really level that at is Clucas but what do you expect from him? It wasn’t the players today. It was wasting a preseason. It was not bringing in players better than what we had. It was a manger whose work over the summer has failed so badly he had to make six changes and change the system just to try and save his job.

Fair play to you mate : You have no ‘skin in the game’ as I believe you Americans say. But if you’re prepared to put up with this shite from 3000 miles I can only give you respect. There’s plenty of posters that disappeared once we left the glamour league. Buckle up for the grind! (Could be 23 years again!).

Jones had a choice bring in players promptly to put enough players together for the first few matches. Then bring in talent on the final day to add ability. We were expecting the likes of Gayle quality. Did not happen. But that’s on the manager isn’t it. He’s not brought in the right ones. We can’t now criticise the players themselves for it. I’ve said it so many times today but I really felt for them today I really did.

I didn’t think much of Leeds for the opening 20 odd minutes but they slowly took hold of the game, some of their passing play in and around our box was excellent. If you didn’t know any better you’d say they were the recently relegated premiership side, not us, we played like a league 2 side.

I’ve said it so many times today but I really felt for them today I really did. I believe we could not afford Gayle wished wage. That up to Scholes . The players are Nathan choice after the budget been set for Jones . only spend within budget. Even if that is the case. He spent £4m on a RB which was the least of our worries. He also didn’t bring in players that suited his system. Most worryingly of all none of them are better than what we had. He let Pieters go without an adequate replacement. Bruno is sat in the bomb squad and Bojan has also gone. He completely messed it up. Most teams in this league don’t have huge budgets. Sawyers and Ayaji went to West Brom for about £5m in total.

It's not hard to keep with a team one has decided to follow (I've never been a fair-weather type person). My one worry is however, that if Stoke were to drop to lower levels, it will make it that much harder for me follow their efforts over here. I can't imagine that providing any Stoke+/iFollow streaming is a profitable service at the lower levels, so I guess as long as Signal 2 radio internet is covering I'll be okay, but Jeebus the duo commentators they have are a bit of a mess to listen to. BTW, I can do 23 years in my sleep, you should see the other sports teams I follow.

Leeds were class after they got the first goal. Better than any team we played last season with some of their one touch passing. Think they will win the league this time round.
