Firstly I'd get the squad together and kindly remind them of their jobs and how they haven't done them to the best of their supposed abilities thus far. Then I would tell any player that makes a rank basic error resulting in a goal will have a two week fine, since if they have an assist or score a goal they no doubt get a bonus. Fair is fair after all. Lastly I would tell them that i'm on the verge of the sack and that if I did get the sack, I know where each and every one of them live and that I will pay them all a visit in due course, to bundle them in the back of my car and go for a bit of a row at the Statue - of which I would win hands down. Then I would pick the following: ...................Davies ........Collins Vickers Lindsay Edwards...............................McClean ....................Cousins................... .........Etebo.................Clucas....... .................Duffy or Powell.......... ....................Gregory................. Lastly, I would wish them all the very best. I like that team but with Federici not Davies.

I’d give that team a go other than I wouldn’t play Butland.

Go back to basics get 10 men behind the ball, grind out a few 0-0 s and slowly take it from there when confidence hopefully starts to grow Spot on. That is what Waddo would have done. That is what Durban would have done. That is what TP would have done. And that's why anyone sane doesn't want that man anywhere near ST4 again

Drop Butland otherwise their first shot on target will be in the back of the net. And the second

What would i do...well my answer is i have picked up a new lady friend and its sex on tap at the moment So i can ignore the football for the next couple of months. By the time we have got used to each other and it turns into Birthdays and Christmas i will turn my eye back to football and hopefully we will be in the top half of the table 😁 Do you swap ends at half time?

Jack (yes, Jack)
Collins. CCV. Lindsay.
Edwards. McClean
Ince. Duffy. Etebo.
Hogan. Greggers.
Never happen but desperate times call for desperate measures. I don't see any reason to drop Batth and I would also like to see Powell back in the team. He's not had the very best of starts to the campaign though has he?
Maybe dropping him is a week late - he was better at Preston (albeit that's a very low bar) but not at all good at Charlton for example.
All these calls go, of course, to the manager, his understanding of how a particular player will react and his relationship with that player.
More of the same might just 'click' as he and others have been suggesting but I suspect it needs ano approach - and in his presser he was clear he won't be wedded to the dreaded diamond should we need to set up otherwise.
I think we need to.

A bit of trivia ahead of the game.
Norwich lost 3 of their first 5 games last season (making it something like 4 wins in 20 games). Many were also calling for Farke's head.
Their 4th and 5th games were also Preston and Leeds. They beat Preston and lost to Leeds.
We've lost to Preston. Can we pull a win against Leeds out of the bag to get our season back on track and hopefully be in Norwich's position come May??

If we win today, I reckon it could be a watershed moment.

The other problem is one of probability. People are fond of citing the Norwich example. It is meaningful only in the context of all the other teams (from any division) that lost their opening games. Obviously I am far too lazy to "do the math", but I am prepared to bet that the overwhelming majority of teams that start badly do not get promoted. It's common sense really. If you drop 11 of your first 12 points, achieving the promotion bar is that much harder. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No.

It's quite simple, just think of the team and formation you wouldn't want to see, and that's today's team

Please, please , please. I am praying to God ,Allah and any other holy being that we beat Leeds today. I live amongst them are they are pissing themselves laughing at us. I have even resorted to bringing up past results against the horrible bastards. Sadly history means nothing in football, it is all about the latest or next result. I just want us to play with some pace and also to see us defend as a team should. Butland has to be on full alert right from the kickoff. His defence must be bollocked right from the start and not play kick and run. I will be the proudest Potter in Yorkshire on Tuesday night if we win today. If we lose today i can see the fans turning on Nat Jones and the boys. Leeds are a good team with a great Manager, but on paper we have very decent squad, so fingers crossed for Stoke City and Potters fans all around the World.

My feeling about the match is it depends a lot on whether we have mislead or fooled the Leeds spies and on the day can come at them with something different again!

No. I just think it's relevant in the context that we have the quality to get promotion. It's how NJ harnesses that talent, whether it's in the diamond or any other formation. After losing to Leeds last season, Leeds were top with 13 points and Norwich had 4. This is our chance to even it up, and show we have it in us to at least gun for automatic. Lose today, and not a chance of automatic. But if we lose, I want to see a performance where we go down fighting.

My sincere commiserations. I lived there for a couple of years a long time ago, a horrible place populated (mostly) by horrible people, and to a great extent lawless to boot. Ugh.
