Can't believe Sol Campbell hasn't been mentioned yet, he saved Macclesfield and they weren't as shit as us...

Hughton won’t come.
It’ll be a shortlist of
Mad Mick Pearson TP Monk Chris Coleman
Bit of a left field one but what about Phil Neville. Might call some favours in the Jan window.

I'd move heaven and earth for Hughton, really would, he's a solid manager who isn't a total cunt.

I would give Lambert another attempt !.------Why ?-----because he totally embraced the club throughout his tenure. Yes he got us relegated, but I thought he was very unlucky. He never once stated that it wasn't HIS team. Does that sound familiar ?. He has also got previous experience of getting a team INTO the Prem. Good C V that.
Apart from all that I loved his passion and enthusiasm.

I really don't get why people think we can't attract Chris Hughton. If he got the call he'd be all over it without any doubt.

Tin hat on, but I feel a bit sorry for Jones. He’s had fuck all luck, how does he legislate for Butland errors, Allen’s misses.
I think you need skill, know how and luck and Nathan jones just isn't the right man

Money he doesn't need though. He's getting paid by Brighton he can afford to be choosy, that's the reality...... We're a big club, bigger than Brighton with 10 years in the premier league behind us, one of the biggest budgets in the division and we're still perceived as a good club with good owners. It is this narrow minded, negative way of thinking that has got us into this situation with the likes of Lambert, Rowett and now Jones. Let's be ambitious with the next appointment and aim high and don't accept anything other than the best. It’s not narrow minded or negative to suggest he might want to sit on his Premier League salary, have a break, and see how things pan out between now Xmas....

An interesting opinion Should Jones go, his successor has to get the best out of the players we have and that is a major challenge Team players got us promoted and kept us in the premiership, they were a settled team, no superstars as such Many current players seem more concerned with competing for a starting 11 place rather than forming a team approach

God willing anybody but Pulis Around 50% of the fan base would likely echo your thoughts but as the defeats tick by it's looking more and more like a tailor made situation for a manger of Pulis's ilk. Of his ilk fine by me. We need to stop losing points by defending better, from a secure base start scoring and winning games.
