Speaking of racists and bigots: Her name is Sasha Johnson, spokeswoman for BLM UK and her Facebook page is interesting to say the least. She's threatened a fellow black person because he dared to disagree with her, and she's called the UK police a terrorist organisation that shares 'values with the Ku Klux Klan'. Kneel to this? I don't think so. Meanwhile, this a recent Tweet from an editor of the Washington Post, one of the US' main broadsheets. A bit of a veiled threat at the end there, I wonder what she means by 'revenge'? Never come accross her before but you can feel the venom. Really unpleasant character

Really unpleasant character Speaking of unpleasant characters, did you know that Charles Wade, a founding father of BLM US, was arrested four years ago for sex trafficking and prostitution of a 17 year old girl? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a form of slavery? www.google.com/amp/s/amp.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/19/charles-wade-black-lives-matter-leader-charged-wit/

Meanwhile the torch and pitchfork brigade have another victim: www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/sfmoma-curator-gary-garrels-san-francisco-museum-modern-art-reverse-discrimination-racism-1517984%3famp=1His crime? Here goes: "To say that we will not collect another white artist I absolutely do not agree with", a quote by Mr Garrels which prompted a witch-hunt and the predictable trial by social media. Mr Garrels went on to say: "I do not believe I have ever said that it is important to collect the art of white men. I have said that it is important that we do not exclude consideration of the art of white men...I realize in the CURRENT CLIMATE, I can no longer effectively work at SFMOMA." The article goes on to mention that Mr Garrels previously 'led the purchase of 11 works by 10 women, LGBTQ and artists of color (sic)'. Sounds like a right bigot π€·ββοΈ (I'm only putting these items on this thread as the previous threads regarding BLM etc were locked/pulled due to certain people reducing them to bitch fights).

The delightful Sasha was out & about in Brixton yesterday. Doing the impossible, if we could take Race or colour out of the equation, this is absolutely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Imagine if that was a group of " organised" football supporters or theEDL....Om not sure it would be tolerated. I think that we have taken the concept of " peaceful " protest too far....or lost the idea altogether.....do you know what the protesters realistically want the target of their venom do? The great reformers , such as Gandhi amd Martin Luther King did not preach hatred and division, but reconciliation.

Crikey she really is vile and just looking for a reaction from the police so it can be videod and put all over social media. My only hope is that the sensible amongst us of all races can see her for what she is and that her actions will actually turn people against her than for her. How can anyone defend her behaviour. [ Is it fair to say that she represents BLM a cause that all our footballers kneel for every week. Itβs people like her that will take the fight against racism back years

I think the best reaction anyone could give to her would be to start laughing at her. Iβd love to see how sheβs react to that. Thereβs a bit of her that I just canβt take seriously. No doubt her background is very different to those that she states sheβs fighting for. She reminds me of a playground bully the type that if she was on her own and someone stood up to her sheβd run a mile. This is exactly the reason why Iβd never kneel. Against racism? Yes 100 percent. The delightful Sasha was out & about in Brixton yesterday. Well after yesterday's scenes in London the cat's well and truly out of the bag and the UK branch of BLM have been exposed for the hate-filled bigots that they are. Well done to the BBC for distancing themselves from this movement, but shame on Sky for continuing to promote it. For the record, I have no issue with broadcasters endorsing Kick It Out and other genuine anti-racism groups, but BLM UK are a toxic and nefarious organisation who are actually causing more division. Unfortunately they have been unchallenged for too long, and thus become emboldened. If I called somebody a terrorist just because they belonged to a particular group, it would be classed as a hate crime. Why is this different? This isn't about equality, this is about revenge and black nationalism.

Yeah, this - but also that the EDL chumps spend all day fighting the pigs and it's a common right wing trope to claim the police, BBC etc are actively protecting paedo gangs. But you know, if white groups or football fans (Lads Alliance anyone?) were doing it blah blah blah

Someone will be along to tell me soon I hope Dean/Vokes (and your more regular appearances on this forum since 'heyzeus' was banned must be purely coincidental, but anyway, I digress...): I could, and will, flip this back on you and say that you'd be far less blasΓ© if it was an EDL march than you are regarding this. Why would that be? As a quick aside regarding your alter-ego's reply to BJR- he stated that you'd not agreed with yesterday's antics. This is true, but you didn't condemn them either π€ I'm not sure what Orange marches have to do with this as that's a unique regional issue related to Northern Ireland (and maybe some parts of inner city Scotland), but EDL marches are always accompanied by counter-protests so the condemnation has already been 'put out there'. They know that their opinions are widely condemned, and a platform is given to those in opposition. The difference here is that any criticism of BLM UK has been minimal- even after their full intentions were made public- because of worries over claims of racism, presumably (that sounds awfully familiar). Even BAME people who've spoken out against BLM have been abused and threatened (by senior figures from BLM amongst others). As such, they have become emboldened which resulted in yesterdays unchallenged scenes. If I abused a police officer (I know you're not the biggest fan of the 'five-o' but indulge me, and at least Sasha kept her trousers on!) I'd be charged with a Public Order offence, and if I labelled a group of innocent people 'terrorists' we'd be entering hate crime territory. But these people have carte blanche to say what they want with no such worries- who's privileged now?

Must've been a figment of my imagination that in spite of extreme provocation - far, far more than was seen in Brixton over the weekend - the police largely just stood their ground and let them get on with it...

The other irony of this group, the young whites following and supporting it come from privileged backgrounds, the very ones whose ancestors probably worked in the Empire civil service, who owned plantations and slaves. Now they demonise the working classes who were virtually slaves in the age of slavery.

Given how he's such a stringent voice against trolling and keyboard warriors on The Cake, I'm sure 'rednwhitenblue' will be along anytime soon to question the obvious trolling tactic of using more than one account on a forum such as this to try and get one's point across. Especially as his computer's now running at full pelt and he's stopped requoting himself π
Or is a shared political viewpoint with the accounts in question a fly in that particular ointment? π€
