Next week will be very tough it'll be like playing a Pulis side. Disciplined but very predictable. Is it me or is there something really unlikeable about De Klerk always chirping at the ref and needs a haircut. Our biggest problem will be if we bottle it. If we play like yesterday we'll win. We dont want to play into there hands and need to try to be expansive. Need to keep our discipline and not be dragged into their battle. I think they will give away a number of penalties and have the capacity to gift us some yellow and red cards.....provided we don’t try and play them at their own game.

We've got more variety and power in our pack to challenge SA than Wales had today. It's going to be tough of course but see no reason why we can't, or won't, beat them. Let's not forget, New Zealand beat these lot so we obviously can. Styles make fights, though. In England's favour, I think that they will kick for field position, unlike Wales who wanted to make every kick a fight ball. In fairness, I think England deserve the Cup solely on the manner of their victory over The All Blacks. That's one of the best performances I have seen for years.

To all my Welsh friends, don't forget to tune in on Friday for the 3rd/ 4th place play offs. Good luck against the All Blacks. 👍😉

Even as a fan of the club I have to say I don't like him although he's by far the best scrum half we've had for a long time.

I remember Stoke in our 3rd/4th place play off v Everton, a cracking decision to play a game between 2 Northern teams in a town just South of that London saw an attendance of just over 5k.
I hope somebody grabbed whoever made that decision warmly by the throat and asked them what the fuck they were thinking or more likely how many pints they'd had before making it.

Does anyone think wwe have any chance at all v NZ? I never doubted it. 😂😂 It’s amusing looking back at the pre-match comments…. JoeinOz (as owned up to above) - Does anyone think we have any chance at all v NZ? Deeside - I'd obviously love us to be able to beat them but I can't honestly see it happening Deeside - ....but I'm sadly expecting NZ to win by 10 to 15 points Jermain Jackson - This could be that game (for England) but in all honesty I doubt it. JoeinOz - Me too unfortunately. Just got to hope we make a game of it. Redstriper - I'm thinking we will lose by less than 7, but who knows, we might just sneak it. Deeside - I'm still expecting NZ to win (probably by 10 to 15 points) but really hoping we can overcome them today Well done to Franklin66, GeneralFaye, thevoid for unflinching positivity. TOP PRIZE, though, has to be awarded to thequietman for his prediction of“ I think it'll be a Wales v NZ final, unfortunately” Well done lads. Thanks for the entertainment

Thanks for the entertainment The benefit of hindsight eh ! I'm obviously absolutely delighted to have been proved totally wrong My pessimism must have been drawn from watching the miserable efforts of our beloved Stoke City over the past few years. Come on England - let's hope we've not peaked a week too early !

Nailed that one didn't I? And I'm utterly delighted to have got it totally wrong. I normally speak to my work colleagues in South Wales a dozen times a day or more. Oddly, not one of them has phoned or emailed me this morning ...
Wales were maybe a bit unlucky. But it was a bloody awful game to watch. Kick, knock-on, scrum. Kick, catch, ruck, knock-on, scrum. Repeat ad-nauseum.
We were magnificent against the All Blacks, especially the centres who utterly destroyed NZ's running game for the most part.
Here's hoping that thoroughly unlikeable scrote Faf de Klerk decides not to kick against us every single time the ball is in his hands and tries running at us for once. Tuilagi & co will rip him a new one if he does.
To keep the luck going re my superb predictions, I'm going for:
Final - Saffers to win
3/rd & 4th play off - who cares?

Thanks for the entertainment We were pretty much perfect and we punished their mistakes - which made it that game. (But you missed that bit of my quote ...) I'm equally pessimistic about this weekend. I think South Africa are just going to continually pummelling us but I'm hoping our quick offloads will help to create gaps similar to what New Zealand did.

All Blacks are the Brazil of the R’f’U & fawned over. Should the Australians be allowed to sing Tie my kangaroo down, Sport as their anthem. Anyway, Rugby is like a game that a committee of over enthusiastic children invented. The line-out, the scrum, the ruck, the knock-on/readjustment.

I'm a big Rugby Union fan but completely agree with your comment about the All Blacks. They have always seemed to receive the same "preferential" treatment from the media that Brazil does in football. If anything I think it's become even worse in more recent times. I watched the England v NZ game last weekend and it seemed to my (obviously English biased) ear that even the ITV commentators become more excited when NZ scored their try, and I don't think it was because it potentially made the game more of a contest.

It’s mental in Bath when the rugby’s on. Even when we were in Premiership, if our game clashed with a Bath game, there was no way you could get a pub to show it. When we beat Australia in 2003 it was £@#&!n bedlam & I expect the same at the weekend...

I always thought the haka was intended to be taken as them issuing a 'challenge' and that there was no problem in 'accepting' the challenge as long as it was respectful.

I genuinely think it'll be us or South Africa, a feeling in my water suggests we'll go very close at least. My "water" has proven to be extremely powerful so with that in mind, we're going to win on Saturday by 10-14 points. Knighthoods and bus parades at the ready everybody.

I'm sure more would be made of it if they were as good as New Zealand.

If England players wanted to Morris Dance they could, at the same time as NZ do the haka. There is also no law stating the opposition have to stand and watch the haka. The only law is that you must not enter the oppositions half.

If they walked away or danced in response they would breach that law and be fined.

To me it's just become a bit of a media love in with the rise in Social media and like all these reality TV programmes, it used to look a bit silly The England team should have linked arms and blasted out swing low at them
